Charmaine Sheh Shoots Outdoor Scene for “News Anchorwoman”

Since leaving TVB in 2011, Charmaine Sheh’s (佘詩曼) last appearance in a TVB-affiliated drama was 2017’s Bet Hur. <賭城群英會>, Her career in China reached another peak after her breakout performance in Story of Yanxi Palace <延禧攻略>. Despite finding success and possessing a higher earning potential in China, Charmaine maintains a positive relationship with TVB and has always voiced her willingness to return should a good script arise.

Agreeing to film TVB drama News Anchorwoman <新聞女王>. Charmaine will star as the primary female anchor of an esteemed news department. The series also features Kenneth Ma (馬國明) as a rival anchor, as well as Shaun Tam (譚俊彥) and Joel Chan (陳山聰) rounding out the male cast.

Filming for the series has already begun, and some lucky bystanders even spotted Charmaine and Regina Ho (何依婷) filming an outdoor scene recently. From her hairstyle to her outfit to demeanor, Charmaine emitted the confident and self-assured aura flawlessly. Undoubtedly, she has the innate ability to pull off her roles believably.
