Wong He Almost Died From a Lightning Strike
Former TVB actor Wong He (王喜) had a radio interview with Media Broadcast Corporation yesterday. He revealed that he recently returned to Hong Kong from the United States after filming a storm chasing travelogue for Ricky Wong’s (王維基) new television station, CTI. Wong He said the travelogue will be broadcast during the television station’s opening ceremony.
In the radio interview, Wong He briefly spoke about his storm chasing experience. He revealed that he and his crew frantically passed through 12 states in 9 days. Among the states they passed through were Texas, Minnesota, and South Dakota. The crew also stayed in Aurora, Colorado a few days before the infamous Batman shooting, in which 12 people were shot in a July 20th screening of The Dark Knight Rises.

Wong He also revealed that the crew almost died from a lightning strike. He laughed and excitedly said, “I suddenly saw a bright light behind the car, and it turns out that a lightning striked right between our cars! All of our cell phones immediately stopped working!” He added jokingly, “Thank goodness I haven’t done any ill-natured acts! If so, I think I would have gotten hit!”
Before Wong He signed on to film the storm chasing travelogue, CTI’s Ricky Wong had already bought him over $1 million HKD of insurance. Ricky’s generosity and sincerity prompted Wong He to immediately sign with the company. Wong He expressed that he is very satisfied with his current work schedule, and added that he will lead a group tour to volunteer organizations in Nepal and Tibet next month.

hey hey i traveled to minnesota and all the way back to the east coast. then i traveled from new england down to north carolina. my first longest road trip was from california all the way to texas. it was scary. i was in a thunderstorm as well but luckily nothing happen. i’m glad for wong he. thought he vanished into thin air since they don’t want him. i can tell he enjoyed this job more. he looks happy.

Wong He appears to be very adventurous, such as climbing Mount Everest several years ago. He appears willing to put his life at risk in an attempt to challenge man’s limits against nature.
I think Wong He really needs to be careful while filming chasing Tornadoes, Us have so many open fields and it’s easy to get strike by lightning..
Hope he learned from his life-threatening experiences. He got almost killed at Mount Everest, and now almost died from a lightning strike.
Oh I missed the chance of seeing him when he traveled to Texas – Just joking. Missing seeing him in the series.
Wong Hei is one of my all time fav on TBV series and I really miss seeing him on TV. So glad to see him back in action and I can’t wait to see him in a series again. Happy for him!

That is not a nice thing to say. It does not matter if he is gay or not. Even if he was, that does not matter or makes him a bad person that deserves to die..
With attitude like this, no wonder gays in China who are idols stay in closet, invent wives and girlfriends who not exist, (Xiaogang), or talk of girlfriends who they break up with long time back, (Mike He). Let Mightysnoopus say whatever he/she wants to say. One day, his/her children are probably gay too. Even if not, then his/her grandchildren are gay; if not, then his/her grand-grandchildren are; if not again, then his/her grand-grand-grandchildren are and so on. To put a long story short, every family will have gay children but it just depends on which generation. You might not be gay but who knows the future. Maybe you grandchildren are gay, or maybe you grand-grand-grand-grandchildren are gay. No offence to you or any one out there but this is human nature.
HK has straight people die every single day due to accident, murder, disease, etc. Now who gains the advantage?

Well said Gar, but one thing you are wrong. Homosexuality is not a choice. If it were a choice, nobody would choose to be gay and then let themselves be discriminated by people. Instead, they would choose to be heterosexual and just live an easy lifestyle.
Therefore, your statement is wrong. It should be ‘respect one’s sexual orientation’ because everyone is born this way.
Some of the best thunderstorms in the US are in Florida. In the summer you can expect a thunderstorm almost every afternoon into early evening. They never last that long, and can be quite intense. 🙂
He seems to be enjoying life and having fun. I sincerely hope no bad news will come out of this though.
wahhhhh he was in aurora!!! I’m from aurora! The shooting has affected many of us here and glad that he’s safe and sound!
