Charmaine Sheh Starts Filming for “Modern Dynasty 2”
Fascinating viewers with the revenge story of an elite, powerful family, Modern Dynasty <家族榮耀> was an instant hit in China and Hong Kong when it aired last year. Featuring Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) and Raymond Lam (林峯), the second season will also revolve around the gripping power struggles among the elite.
The cast and crew attended the official blessing ceremony in Malaysia yesterday. As Charmaine will portray Benz Hui’s (許紹雄) daughter in Modern Dynasty 2 <家族榮耀之繼承者>, they were extremely chatty with each other. Working well together in the past, they already resemble a family in real life. Charmaine had called Benz to accept the role even before the actor had a chance to read the script.
Returning in Modern Dynasty 2, Him Law (羅子溢) will be playing a wealthy second-generation and also act as the drama’s main villain. “My character is even more complicated than my previous role… I’ll be doing a lot of terrible things.”
Although his wife Tavia Yeung (楊茜堯) will not star in the second season, she will bring their children to visit Him on set. Him is excited to work with Gallen Lo (羅嘉良) again, as it has been years since their last collaboration in the 2016 web drama, Infernal Affairs <無間道>.
