Ruco Chan Films “Sinister Beings 2”
Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Moon Lau (劉佩玥), and Ben Wong (黃智賢) were filming for Sinister Beings 2 <逆天奇案2> yesterday. During the cliffside chase scene, Ruco and Ben were sweating as they had to wear long sleeves and a bulletproof vest under the blazing sun.
“I thought that I would be fighting from a slope all the way to level ground. Instead, I filmed for 10 hours nonstop on that slope and I had to fight and roll around. It had rained previously so the ground was slippery. I wore the wrong shoes and the soles were completely worn out after filming. I should have worn shoes with spikes. I’m still in good shape so I didn’t get hurt but I had leg cramps when I got home,” Ruco admitted.
With Sinister Beings 2 about to wrap up, Ruco said that this was not too strenuous compared to the times when he filmed during the black rainstorm signal or typhoon. “I’ve filmed on days when it’s hotter than this. Filming historical dramas is even worse.”
Although he was busy with work, Ruco would still take his daughter to school with the start of the new academic year. “I was worried she wouldn’t be able to adjust to the new teachers and classmates, but she’s been adapting quickly.” He plans to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with his daughter, before leaving for China, Malaysia and United States for work
Rosina Lam (林夏薇) has already finished filming all of her scenes and posted an Instagram story where she cheekily teased Ruco. He played along and pretended to cry. However, Rosina does not have time to rest either as she has already boarded a flight to start a new job.
Moon felt fortunate that she did not have to film any action scenes as her character provides the comic relief in the drama. Celebrating her 34th birthday in September, Moon received 99 roses. Although the flowers were suspected to have come from her rumored boyfriend Adrian Chau (周志文), Moon denied it and said the gift was from her female friend.
