Joyce Tang’s (滕麗名) boyfriend, Matthew Chu (朱建崑) was photographed locking lips with his official girlfriend in a taxi last year. Thirty-six-year-old Joyce was allegedly devastated upon learning the truth that Matthew was two-timing her, and she had become a third party instead. Tabloids reported that Joyce allegedly mended her relationship with Matthew, succeeding to kick aside his former official girlfriend!
Joyce Craves for Love
Joyce Tang’s love life has been bumpy, in which she was allegedly cheated upon by her former boyfriends, Marco Ngai (魏駿傑) and Derek Kok (郭政鴻). Marco had reportedly dated another woman behind her back, while Derek already had a wife and daughter. After two terrible heartbreaks, Joyce met the mature Matthew Chu, a Canon employee who worked in the sales department, at a friend’s gathering. Exchanging phone numbers, Matthew quickly pursued Joyce. An insider revealed that after ending her two past relationships, Joyce craved for true love, and it was not for long that Joyce accepted Matthew’s courtship.
After dating for several months, Joyce allegedly was shocked to discover that Matthew had a girlfriend and he was dating two women simultaneously. She could not believe that she had turned into a third party overnight.
Joyce Plays the Attentive Card to Win Over Matthew
Joyce was reportedly afraid to become a left-over bachelorette. Despite knowing that Matthew Chu had cheated on her, she allegedly forgave him. She decided to put in efforts to contend with Matthew’s official girlfriend in this love triangle. Joyce was very attentive to Matthew, making soup and cooking for him. Joyce also accompanied Matthew wherever he went. Matthew was allegedly moved by Joyce’s gestures and decided to make a clean break with his official girlfriend.
In April, Joyce and Matthew reportedly went on a vacation together in Tokyo. After returning from their “honeymoon trip,” the chirpy Joyce kept mentioning Matthew in front of her friends.
Dressed in a youthful outfit consisting of shorts and white boots, Joyce was spotted two days ago, walking hand-in-hand with Matthew after having dinner. The couple was engrossed in their sweet romance, behaving intimately and seemedly oblivious of their surroundings.

When asked about her relationship with Matthew, Joyce smiled and dispelled rumors that they had problems. However, she was quick to shoot down marriage plans with Matthew. Joyce said, “I never thought of such a thing (marriage with Matthew). It’s too far away! I never really thought about it.”
Asked if she had a blissful relationship with Matthew, Joyce smiled brightly and said, “I am very happy!”

She’s showing signs of a desperate leftover……….I bet 99% chance that this guy will dump her when another fresh one comes along………somehow, Joyce is not the “Keeper” type of woman you want around……..especially at her age.
I always like Joyce but I think she’s dumb and desperado. Now she’s making herself the third party who steal someone’s official boyfriend by fighting to get him and forgive him after she caught him. She should’ve left him.

My personal take on women who do not mind being the third party in a relationship is that indeed they crave love. They crave love to the point where they disregard their official status (even if the guy is married, has another girlfriend), she is willing to tolerate it.
As for what happened between Derek Kok and Joyce, wasn’t his wife in China at the time? He and his wife never separated properly and then she became pregnant, thus Derek went back to his wife. Which means that he had ambigous ties with both women at the same time.
That also means Joyce was a willing third party between Derek and wife?
My problem here is she doesn’t back away after knowing how bastard the guy is but she fought to get him all for herself from the official girlfriend. How will people look at women who has the heart to steal another woman’s boyfriend?
Derek’s second wife isn’t the first one. I blv I said it many times.
Derek divorced before meeting Joyce and even if they had a relationship, it’s when Derek divorced. After that, he had a second wife and being a father of 2 daughters, but continuously linked with Joyce.

Some people believe there should be a “code of ethics” in love. Some believe that if one is unhappy in love, then that is enough reason. Doesn’t matter if you end up dating your best friend’s boyfriend, that finding true love is worth the sacrifice.
From the perspective of a third party, it may be justified as, “the man is not happy, thus he sought me out.” And whether married or dating another woman, happiness proceeds above “official ties.”
This is like glorifying third parties and cheating bastards.

Not trying to glorify third parties. But a man simply doesn’t fall for third party for no reason. There is something wrong in the relationship and unless it is fixed, the relationship will always be at risk.
Just don’t think it is fair to label a “third party” as simply “husband stealer.” All 3 involved people contributed to such a complicated mess.
as long as a man has money, he will cheat. doesn’t necessarily mean that his wife or official girlfriend does not make him happy.

I don’t think it is true that just because a man has money that he will cheat… It just depends on the person. I don’t think we should stereotype that most men cheat either. Women can cheat just like men do as well.
There are some that think that there is no such thing as a code of ethics in love and that love is something that is not rational. I think that it can be to some extent, but maybe not for many people which is why I think it is always hard to define what is “love”???

I think it is a bit sad that she had to try to get a guy that has cheated on her back. There are plenty of guys in this world so why does she make herself seem so desperate?? If the guy cheated in her before, he may do it again. However, I do not think that just because a guy cheats once means that he will do it again always. At times, people make mistakes while still looking around but once they find their true love, they can wholeheartedly commit and remain faithful as they mature through the years. But yea, some guys and even girls are once a Chester always a cheater.
