Him Law Spills What Marriage Means To Him

Married for 7 blissful years, Him Law (羅子溢) spills more on what marriage means to him on a recent Malaysian radio programme!

Advises Against Getting Married Just for the Sake of It
Getting to know his wife Tavia Yeung (楊茜堯, formerly 楊怡) on the set of 2012 hit medical drama The Hippocratic Crush < On Call 36小時>, the two tied the knot in 2016 in England are still as loving as ever now despite their 5-year age gap. He previously shared about their quirky dynamics in a 2019 talk show.

Asked by the host if he would encourage his friends to get married at a younger age rather than later in life, Him replied, “Marriage is like a marathon, so don’t (have the idea) that it is short. If you aren’t psychologically prepared, then don’t get married just as to check it off your list,” Still, he encouraged those who are ready to accept the fact there will surely be both good and bad moments in a relationship to embrace this phase of life.

Spilling his own reflections on marriage and its accompanying milestones – the two are proud parents to Hera (nicknamed Little Pearl), 3 and Eden, 2, he surmised, “When you face somebody for a long time, it is easy to confuse romance with kinship; you will also experience many highs and lows. (If) after having your own kids, and being able to stick together till old age, I’d say that’s true love,”

Commemorating their seventh wedding anniversary milestone recently with a heartfelt dinner at a favorite restaurant, Tavia was pictured smiling sweetly in Him’s embrace—the epitome of a happy wife!
