Kenneth Ma and Ruco Chan Take Center Spots at TVB Sales Presentation
At the TVB Sales Presentation, the station showcased ten notable dramas for 2024. Big Biz Duel <企業強人> and a new airport drama, Flight Diary <飛常日誌>, have already entered production. Additionally, there will be several highly-anticipated sequels such as Sinister Beings 2 <逆天奇案2> Rosy Business 4 (巾幗梟雄之懸崖), and Forensic Heroes 6 (法證先鋒6 倖存者的救贖).
The Sales Presentation was attended by the station’s leading stars, with Kenneth Ma (馬國明), Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Rosina Lam (林夏薇), and Sisley Choi (蔡思貝) standing in the center. Standing slightly to the side were Samantha Ko (高海寧), Mandy Wong (黃智雯), Moon Lau (劉佩玥), Rosita Kwok (郭柏妍), Owen Cheung (張振朗), Chow Ka Lok (周嘉洛), and Karl Ting (丁子朗), Rivals Crystal Fung (馮盈盈) and Kaman Kong(江嘉敏) awkwardly stood to the side.
The Sales Presentation revealed that Kelly Cheung (張曦雯), Hera Chan (陳曉華), and Rosita Kwok will be starring in two dramas. Similarly, Moses Chan (陳豪), Joe Ma (馬德鐘), Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪), Joel Chan (陳山聰), and Owen Cheung are also in two dramas.
While speaking with the press, Rosina Lin said she received preliminary notice that she may be filming an upcoming drama with Tavia Yeung (楊怡). Rosina hopes the collaboration will work out.
As for Ruco, he only has Sinister Beings 2 in next year’s lineup for now but he hopes to film more variety shows and travelogues.
With several dramas airing this year, Kenneth is also leading Flight Diary. With his career at an all-time high, Kenneth was asked whether he will slow down work after marrying Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯). The 49-year-old actor responded, “I won’t reject any projects. The dramas I have filmed should all be aired this year. I’m currently still working and may also be filming another drama at the beginning of next year.” On whether he hopes to start a family soon, Kenneth expressed, “I’m open to it. It’s a happy occasion. Having a child is our responsibility. I am a man [and will provide for my family].” When prodded about when the wedding will be, Kenneth redirected the question, “You’ll have to ask my wife. This is awkward. She might yell at me for saying the wrong things again and being too honest.”
