Benjamin Yuen and Bowie Cheung Share Son’s Photos

Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) and Bowie Cheung (張寶兒) welcomed the arrival of their son on November 17. Writing from the perspective of her son, Bowie shared the happy news on social media.

“November 17, 2023- I finally see Dad and Mom!

“Mom was so emotional when she heard me screaming and she couldn’t stop crying. Dad was by her side the entire time and happily recorded the entire process. Once he cut the umbilical cord, I couldn’t wait to open my eyes and see him. Thank you to Dr. Cheung from the Obstetrics and Gynecology department for their professionalism and making Dad and Mom feel at ease during the prenatal check-ups. Mom’s C-section went very smoothly. The postpartum wound doesn’t hurt and she was able to get out of bed quickly.

Thank you to Dr. Chan from the Anesthesia Department. Although Mom’s veins were so narrow, he was still able to quickly help her get an intravenous drip and anesthesia injection. Thank you to Dr. Yeung from the Pediatrics department for taking care of me once I came into this world, carefully observing my changes and status. Thank you to head nurse Ruby and all the other nurses who patiently took care of me and Mom’s physical and mental needs. They also taught Mom how to feed and take care of me, allowing us to rely on them wholeheartedly. Thanks everyone for your love and well wishes. I’m here to report that we are doing well, we are very grateful, and I’m excited for our family.”
