Vincent Wong Ends Contract with TVB
Currently filming Black Moonlight <黑色月光> in Shenzhen, Vincent Wong (王浩信) is excited to star with Tavia Yeung (楊茜堯) again. The last time they worked together was 2012’s Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles <名媛望族> where Vincent played Tavia’s stepson. Excited about the story, which is full of tension, Vincent will be putting some thought into how to best portray his character. Tavia’s character will have a dark side who goes through many changes as she uncovers more layers of her personality.
Many artistes have left TVB this year, including Mandy Wong (黃智雯), Candice Chiu (黃智雯), and Ashley Chu (朱智賢). It turns out Vincent’s contract also ended half a year ago. “I’m now a freelance and under a per-series contract with TVB. If there is a role I like, I am happy to come back.”
Currently filming Stealing Time <黃雀> in China, Vincent is managing work arrangements by himself as he has not signed with an agency yet. It has been a challenge to coordinate everything by himself. Vincent said he does not have a preference between Chinese or Hong Kong dramas.
