Netflix Releases “Gyeongseong Creature” Season 2 Stills
The first season of Netflix’s Gyeongseong Creature was released as two parts on December 22 and January 5 respectively. Now that part 2 of season 1 has been released, Netflix shared drama stills and cast information for the upcoming second season.
Season 1 is set in spring of 1945, following wealthy pawnshop owner Jang Tae Sang (Park Seo Joon) and Yoon Chae Ok (Han So Hee), a sleuth who uncovers a monster during the Japanese occupation.
Season 2 will be set in 2024 Seoul. The story will follow a man named Ho Jae who looks exactly like Park Seo Joon’s character in Season 1. He even has the same scar on the back of his neck. In another drama still, Han So Hee looks terrified, seemingly trying to escape something. Han So Hee said, “I hope that everyone can pay attention to my character Chae Ok for a long period of time to find out what happened and what changed? Is Onseong Hospital actually in ruins?”
Bae Hyun Sung and Lee Moo Saeng are joining as new cast members, but their roles have yet to be revealed.

Didn’t expect a season 2. I wonder if it will be set in Japan. it’s funny how they had the pandemic in the preview for a second I thought the monster would come out of a Chinese lab but that would be too sensitive for some.
