Sisley Choi Has No Filming Projects Lined Up

Sisley Choi (蔡思貝) was last seen in The Airport Diary (飛常日誌), which aired in January. With no TVB filming projects in the works and completed series waiting to air, Sisley’s predicament may be due to her unpopularity with Mainland Chinese audiences and tainted image as the alleged third party in Yoyo Chen (陳自瑤) and Vincent Wong’s (王浩信) marriage. Hoping to salvage her image, Sisley has focused on managing her social media accounts and presence on Douyin.

Attending an opening ceremony for a new restaurant recently, Sisley admitted she currently does not have any dramas scheduled. Focusing on reaching a wider audience through social media, Sisley hopes to expand her career to the Mainland market. While some netizens want her to film more dramas, Sisley replied, “I’m currently waiting for a good script and a good role. I’ll go with the flow and take it naturally. I plan to film some variety shows and videos for my social media accounts. I visited many famous places.”

With Miss Hong Kong 2024 now screening for participants, a candidate exposed she had to wear a swimsuit in the freezing cold for two hours during the interview which made her want to quit. Winning first runner-up in Miss Hong Kong 2013, Sisley disclosed TVB is indeed known for its strong air conditioning. “When I was a candidate and had to wear a swimsuit while waiting for my interview. I was so cold, my whole body turned blue. This is something all participants must go through. It’s the first of many tests.”
