“Pachinko” Season2 to Air in August
Starring Lee Min Ho and Kim Min Ha, the second season of Apple TV+’s Pachinko will air on August 23. The new season trailer is full of emotion and heightened by BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s cover of Coldplay’s Viva La Vida in the background. It is said that this will be the series’ ending song.
The television adaptation of Pachinko is based on the New York Times bestseller and follows the life of Kim Sunja (Kim Min Ha). She leaves her family in Japanese-occupied Korea and starts a new life in Osaka’s Koreatown. Lee Min Ho plays the role of Koh Hansu, a wealthy Zainichi Korean who is linked to a criminal organization. He is married and has three daughters, but falls in love at first sight with Kim Sunja.
The second season of Pachinko is set in Osaka in 1945 and the new trailer shows Lee Min Ho encountering Kim Min Ha again. He introduces her the outside world and there is a kissing scene in front of a car.
