Fala Chen Meets Up with TVB Pals
Back in Hong Kong recently, 42-year-old former TVB fadan Fala Chen (陳法拉) met up with her old pals! Having starred in the lead role of 2011 period comedy Queens of Diamonds and Hearts <東西宮略>, it turns out Fala had remained in contact with the rest of the cast members, who turned out almost in full force on her recent trip back.

One of the cast members, Kitty Yuen (小儀) shared a photo of the celebs’ recent gathering, where familiar faces including Sharon Chan (陳敏之), Louis Yuen (阮兆祥) and Koni Lui (呂慧儀) had all turned up, with the exception of male lead Roger Kwok (郭晉安). Kitty wrote, “The good thing about filming is getting to know good friends. Queens of Diamonds and Hearts was shot in 2011, which means we’ve been friends for over 10 years! Tonight, because Fala’s in Hong Kong, we all showed up in full force, only “emperor” Roger Kwok has to work, so we can’t have a full reunion! But we’ll see if we can do more meet-ups lately. Everyone must be present~~!”
Though she only has light makeup on, Fala still looks glowing and maintains a fit physique while already a mother of two. Leaving TVB at the height of her popularity thirteen years ago, Fala went back to school and obtained her Masters in the States.
Building her career in Hollywood, she has since taken part in various international productions including Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, HBO series Irma Vep and most recently Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
