Maggie Shiu Films “Undercover Girl”

Maggie Shiu (邵美琪) is currently filming new drama Undercover Girl <特勤女團>. Although this is her first TVB drama in five years, Maggie is not nervous because of her wonderful coworkers. She is mentally prepared for filming and jokes that she is pretending that she is on vacation to Canada or the United States.

In the new drama, Maggie plays a wealthy wife with a teenage daughter (Yumi Chung 鍾柔美)). Maggie said, “I don’t have any children in real life, so I need to get this experience from somewhere. Luckily my friend Vivian Lai (黎瑞恩) has a daughter of similar age, so I asked a few tips.”

Yumi previously found Maggie to be a bit intimidating, so Maggie would often chat with the younger actress to help her relax. “We’ll talk about things unrelated to filming. I’ll ask her whether she is dating and about her life at home.” Maggie said there will be a singing scene with her onscreen husband Eddie Kwan (關禮傑), “I hope everyone won’t laugh at my singing. Eddie sings really well!”
