Angel Chiang Weds in Nagano, Japan
34-year-old Angel Chiang (蔣家旻) recently shared on Instagram a series of beautiful and romantic photos from her wedding with former TVB executive Owen Chow (周永基), held at the Stone Church in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. Radiant in a full white gown, Angel expressed her joy at getting married in her dream church amid a serene and sacred atmosphere, and marked the joyous new chapter by describing herself as “From Miss to Mrs”!
Busy with Filming & Wedding Preparations
Last week, there were reports of Angel distributing wedding pastries to her TVB colleagues. On September 26, she finally dropped her wedding photos on Instagram, and shared details of her wedding. “After nearly a year of preparation, I am grateful for the blessings during this period. The church I’ve always dreamed of having my wedding at finally reopened three months after the pandemic. It was a beautiful union of light and stone, surrounded by nature in a peaceful and sacred atmosphere. We were able to complete our wedding at the Stone Church. Due to the extremely limited number of guests, we apologize for not being able to invite more people. Thank you to the media friends for your patience.” Netizens had previously met Angel in Sydney, Australia in mid-September, where the couple was believed to have registered their marriage.
Many of her friends in the industry, including Tracy Chu (朱千雪), Louis Cheung (張繼聰), Elva Ni (倪晨曦), and BabyJohn Choi (蔡瀚億), sent their heartfelt congratulations, wishing the couple everlasting love and happiness in their new life together and a family full of joy.
Interviewed by TVB, Angel revealed, “It was exhausting and busy to organise the wedding, everyone knows I was filming The Queen of Castle <巨塔之后> since June, and in September we went to Prague, during this time I was handling all the wedding matters, and also had to take time out for online meetings, plus there were many additional arrangements since it was an overseas event,”
Angel’s husband, Chris Chow, is a former senior executive at TVB. Once assigned by the company to head the TVB production center in Taiwan, he left the station last year and moved to HOY TV as production manager.
