Brian Chu Admits to Going on Dates with Hera Chan

Hong Kong’s 75^th People’s Republic of China National Day Celebration was held at the Hong Kong Coliseum last night. Many artistes performed including Cally Kwong (鄺美雲), William So (蘇永康), Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Elaine Yiu (姚子羚), Shaun Tam (譚俊彥), Christine Ng (伍詠薇), Joel Chan (陳山蔥) and Brian Chu (朱敏瀚).

It was recently rumored that Brian and Hera Chan (陳曉華) have been secretly dating for two years and have plans for a destination wedding at the end of the year. Hera denied the wedding news, but avoided answering whether she and Brian were dating. This was Brian’s first public appearance since the rumors and reporters congratulated him on dating Hera.

Brian thanked everyone, but clarified this did not mean that he was admitting to dating Hera. When pressed, he sweetly smiled before saying they were getting to know each other and had gone out for dinners alone. Although Brian admired Hera’s character, he stated they were not at the stage of marriage. They would definitely not be getting married this year and would let everyone know if they had good news to share.

Ruco, Joel, Shaun, and Elaine sang the TVB Olympic theme song “Without Borders” <無界>. This was the first time Ruco and Joel sang the song and also the first time they participated in National Day celebrations. As it was Joel’s birthday, the artistes and Eric Tsang (曾志偉) presented him with a cake backstage. Joel wished for health and for his son Jaco to grow up well and obedient and do well in school.
