Moses Chan and Shaun Tam on Filming “Big Biz Duel”

Starring Moses Chan (陳豪), Shaun Tam (譚俊彥), Kelly Cheung (張曦雯) and Katy Kung (龔嘉欣), TVB drama Big Biz Duel <企業強人> premiered on September 20. The drama aired to relatively good success and ratings. At its peak, Big Biz Duel reached a viewership rating of 21.9  with approximately 1.42 million views.

Moses and Shaun attended a promotional event for the drama recently. On the drama’s success, Moses expressed, “I’m really happy about it. In addition to collaborating with Shaun, the entire cast and crew’s creativity led to these promising results. It means the audience enjoys it.”

Following up on Moses’ response, Shaun said, “Actually with Moses here, I was never worried about viewership ratings. This is also one of the very rare times when we received the script in its entirety from the beginning. The writers did a great job with editing because the first page included a timeline of everything. On the first day of filming, we were already filming a scene from the 20^th episode. As we continued filming, the storyline all fit together. The entire process was smooth.”

With the entire script on hand, the artistes did not have to deal with waiting for last-minute scripts and the difficulty of memorizing their lines with short notice. Moses praised Big Biz Duel’s producer for this, “Producer Marco Lo (羅永賢) is not a fan of last-minute scripts. Before we started filming, he already gave us all our scripts. This allowed us sufficient time to do our homework ahead of time and properly prepare.”
