Ron Ng Congratulates Hana Kuk

Gracing a beverage store opening event in Mongkok, actor Ron Ng (吳卓羲) shared that his temperament is more suited to acting than running a business. However he does sell toy models though he is involved only in investing and offering his opinions, leaving other aspects to his business partners.

Ron: I’m Not Cut Out for Business

Asked if his celebrity friends have ever invited him to join their ventures, he replied how Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), who knows how tough F&B business is from running his own restaurant, once shared with him that “If your want to harm your friend then ask him to invest in F&B”! Similarly, Raymond Lam (林峯) had also been involved in F&B previously but kept to himself, so it rarely comes up as a shared topic.

Busy with running and working out at the gym recently, Ron shared that he has a delayed filming project due to script amendments, and would be focused on filming in Hong Kong, mainland China and Macau at a later time. Revealing that filming offers from various companies have been coming in, he says he is open to returning to film at TVB where he had made his debut, given the right script.

Laughing at Raymond’s earlier comment that he is “too busy” to go back to TVB, Ron explained that his friend is busy with filming Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In <九龍城寨>, which he would also love to take part in when it starts, as he feels that “Kowloon Walled City is a place that really representative of Hong Kong”.

Asked if he knows about rumored girlfriend Hana Kuk‘s (菊梓喬) being an item with ERROR member Poki Ng (吳保錡), Ron replied that he has seen the news, and would congratulate her as a friend. Declining to comment if the two are compatible, he answered to the negative when asked if he feels a sign of relief. “Not exactly, I’d had many rumors since starting out, I’d always respond this way,”

While he has no new romance now, he expressed that he would make any good news public, and shared that Raymond’s wife wants to introduce girls to him! However, he believes that meeting one’s other half is something fate-related, and admits not being psychologically prepared to meet prospective partners. Sharing his dating criteria, he said, “Most important thing is to have some chemistry, and she must be good to my mom, and make me happy too!
