Eliza Sam and Carlos Chan Film New Drama

Significantly reducing her workload since starting a family, Eliza Sam (岑麗香) returned to TVB to film Plan B in 2021. It has been more than three years since the mother-of-two had taken on any new projects. Her most recent project will be HOY TV drama, I Love Kowloon City (我愛九龍城), starring opposite Carlos Chan (陳家樂).

With filming commencing soon, Eliza shared that her husband, Joshua Ngo, will be taking care of their two sons while she works. Since her two boys are now older, 5 and 3 years old respectively, Eliza can dedicate more time to her career.

On the other hand, her costar Carlos is a new father with a newborn daughter. When reporters joked Eliza and Carlos could matchmake their children, Eliza expressed, “Don’t give Carlos too much pressure. I know dads are very protective of their daughters!”

When asked whether she would like to try for a third child and have a daughter, Eliza joked, “I’ll let nature take its course! They say pregnancy brain lasts three years. I don’t want to have mommy brain for another three more years! I want to be a smart person.”

Asked whether his wife, Shiga Lin (連詩雅), is experiencing mommy brain postpartum, Carlos jested, “She’s never been a smart person to begin with, so even if she is forgetful, it’s okay. She is very loving to make up for it!”
