Edan Lui Visits Girlfriend in Taiwan

Photographed traveling together in Europe, 27-year-old MIRROR member Edan Lui (呂爵安) and 34-year-old Malaysian Goddess Lin Min-chen (林明禎) were rumored in July to have already been secretly dating for half a year.

While she has repeatedly describes them as “just friends”, Edan and Min-chen’s relationship status appeared ambiguous, until a netizen recently shared three photos, allegedly of the two spotted together at a night market in Taiwan. In one photo, the two walked side by side. While the photo captured only their back views, netizens picked out details, pointing out how the items on the man, from his camera, to track shoes and bag accessory all carried a strong resemblance to Edan’s belongings.

In another photo, Edan, dressed in a long-sleeved loose-fitting shirt was carrying his shopping bag in front of a store, while his female companion, allegedly Lin Min-chen, sweetly held out an umbrella to shield him from the rain. As both in the photo appeared to be wearing winter clothes and scarves, netizens pointed out that the photo might be taken some time back, but only made public recently.

When rumors initially started swirling between the two, Edan had readily admitted that he intended to pursue her, earning praise from Lin Min-chen for his protective stance. Later, both appeared shy and were reticent when asked about each other’s matters. Despite insisting they were friends, many netizens felt that they were already a couple!

Edan fails to make top 5 of “Favourite Male Singer”

Previously ranked in the top 8 of Hong Kong’s “My Favorite Male Singer”, Edan has dropped out of the final 5; with MC Cheung (張天賦), and Terrence Lam (林家謙) who also failed to advance. Meanwhile, Hins Cheung (張敬軒) and Yan Ting (周殷廷) have moved forward and will be competing against MIRROR members Keung To (姜濤), Anson Lo (盧瀚霆) and Ian Chan (陳卓賢). Meanwhile, contenders for “My Favorite Female Singer” include Gin Lee (李幸倪), JACE (陳凱詠), Serrini (梁嘉茵), Panther Chan (陳蕾) and Sammi Cheng (鄭秀文).
