Jung Woo Sung is Accused of Cheating; Already the Father of a Baby

Korean actor Jung Woo Sung, 51, had maintained a single and good image up until now. Reportedly in a steady relationship for 10 years, the actor allegedly cheated which resulted in his lover’s accidental pregnancy last year. Jung Woo Sung has admitted to being the baby’s father.

Admits He is the Father of Lover’s Son

Earlier it was also rumored that he was dating Shin Hyun Been, his co-star from Tell Me That You Love Me, but the pair quickly denied the rumors. The media later exposed Jung Woo Sung has a non-celebrity girlfriend whom he has been dating for 10 years.  His girlfriend was apparently in the dark about his affair with model Gabi Moon and was shocked just like everyone else.

Meeting at a gathering in 2022, Jung Woo Sung and Gabi did not date and allegedly only saw each other a few times. Gabi discovered she was pregnant in June 2023 and determined that he was the father through DNA testing.

When the news broke, Jung Woo Sung immediately admitted to being the baby’s father and shared he felt extremely happy after learning of the pregnancy. He promised to take care of the baby together and helped name the baby, chose a hospital, and postpartum care center.

It is said that Gabi had wanted to get married and start a family but Jung Woo Sung did not, only promising to take care of the fees related to the birth and raising the child. It is unclear whether this triggered Gabi to disclose she had become a mother on social media. She posted a photo of hugging her baby on November 22, but did not openly disclose who the father was.

Involved With Three Women at the Same Time?

A netizen also posted a photo of Jung Woo Sung and a 26-year-old girl posing intimately in a photo booth, it seems like he was dating three women at once.

Many netizens felt the actor was being two faced and insincere. He was known for caring about refugee issues, but appeared to be extremely irresponsible in his personal life. He only admitted to being the baby’s father, but did not mention marriage and refused to answer any rumors about his long-time girlfriend.

Jung Woo Sung’s agency emphasized that this was his personal life and encouraged everyone to not speculate.

“Dirty” Past

The actor’s last known relationship was with Lee Ji Ah after filming 2010’s Athena: Goddess of War. They were caught on a date in Paris, but the relationship quickly fizzled out after three months. It was exposed that Lee Ji Ah had been married to Seo Taiji for 14 years but they were in the middle of a divorce. Jung Woo Sung unknowingly became the third party and stopped work for a period of time to recover from his romantic wounds. He was always seen with his good friend and business partner Lee Jung Jae, so much so that there were rumors that they were gay.

Netizens also dug up chat records between Ju Jin Mo and Jang Dong Gun that were leaked in 2020 when their phones were hacked. At the time Ju Jin Mo mentioned a nightclub in Cheongdam- dong, “I heard a lot of people go there for drinks and then seduce women and bring them back home.” It was also mentioned that Jung Woo Sung and Lee Jung Jae were regulars. Netizens expressed disgust that birds of a feather flock together.
