Aaron Yan Considers Marriage and Children

Despite brutal accusations and criminal charges brought against Aaron Yan (炎亞綸) by his former lover male influencer Yao Le (耀樂) last year, Aaron was able to revive his career and even find love again. Since Aaron revealed his partner of three years as “half a showbiz insider” who was beside him throughout his legal troubles, many speculated the actor’s partner was his assistant, Xuan.

Attending a promotional event recently, Aaron still had the star power to attract a large crowd. Asked about his current relationship, he replied, “I’m not opposed to getting married. I used to feel I didn’t need to do anything just to prove something. I didn’t feel that my partner’s love was pure and selfless.” On whether he has plans to propose, Aaron said, “It should be me. We’ll discuss this matter. We may consider children [through adoptions].”

Perhaps due to the aftermath of the scandal and his legal troubles, Aaron noticeably lost a lot of weight. He has been controlling his diet and using traditional Chinese medicine weight loss methods. Losing 17 pounds in three months, Aaron expressed, “My other half will eat a lot, so sometimes I accidentally eat just as much as he does!”
