2013 TVB Calendar Photo Stills Illegally Leaked
After a two-year absence, the highly collectible TVB calendar is back for the year of 2013. Many TVB artists are featured in the calendar, in which the images were illegally leaked yesterday, making TVB furious over the matter.
The calendar’s January photo shoot features Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣), Raymond Lam (林峯), Aimee Chan (陳茵媺), and Kate Tsui (徐子珊). Michael Miu (苗僑偉), Roger Kwok (郭晉安), Michael Tse (謝天華), Tavia Yeung (楊怡), and Fala Chen (陳法拉) are in February. For the Anniversary month, TV Queen, Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), was accompanied by TV Kings, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), Moses Chan (陳豪), and Wayne Lai (黎耀祥) will be featured.
Photos of the entire calendar, including the cover (a group shot of 329 TVB artists) have been leaked and circulated widely online. Famed photographer, Christopher Cheung (張文華) directed the photo shoot and the production is outsourced. The leaked materials are still in their production stage and are not yet finished.
TVB Deputy Director of External Affairs, Tsang Sing Ming (曾醒明) has already consulted with its legal department; cease-and-desist letters are being sent to various sites and blogs demanding the removal of the copyrighted calendar photos, as they are posted online without the permission of TVB.
This is not the first time confidential TVB materials were leaked and posted online. When asked if any new policies will be implemented to deter similar incidents from happening again, Tsang indicated that staff members have been briefed and warned not to disclose any company proprietary information.

I saw the leaked photos… It’s weird. Someone was over zealous with photoshopping.
Super plastic looking after heavy photoshop!!! The composition looks awkward like linda’s position in Jan. I hope they’ll change/ improve it now that it has leaked.

That’s what came into my mind too lol. If they were to change the positions of the artistes, example Linda, does that mean they have to reshoot again? Don’t think TVB will do that since it would require additional costs.
Yeah, TVB is so el cheapo they definitely will not reshoot. But surely they must have quite a few pics to choose from, unless they all have the retarded poses for Jan?

The most awkward is the all guys photo (forgot which month). Everyone was running towards the ‘camera’ except for Him who ran the other direction, but, head turn back to face the ‘camera’. Makes me feel like he’s going to bump into one of the other guys.

What’s the point of getting a famed photographer to direct the shoot, while the post-production looks like it’s done by amateurs.

January one looked extremely awkward. Besides the fact that Linda was standing alone, she was facing away from the others with a beaming smile while the other four artists grouped together had a ‘chok’ face on lmao. I actually laughed when I saw January’s one LOL. The other months, like feburary was weird too..the arrangements of the artists were awkward..hopefully they are actually drafts and not the finished product.
And it seemed like they went on a photoshopping spree…the artists’ in April looked like they were animated figures, although i’d have to say, out of all, I think April looked the coolest if you take out the photoshopping aspect.
The calendar looks….*facepalm* horrible.

Ohh good! The leaked ones were horrible! If you compare it to the calendars before it seemed more like they got the cheapest photographer and editor! I cannot get over January! It was so random! Linda was just standing to the side.. Even though Bosco and Raymond are like her famous pairings

Heheh. Wouldn’t it be great if someone took these photos and sold their own bootleg calendars…
I certainly wouldn’t want to pay for this if it truly were the final product. (Do TVB actually sell these or are they usually given away?)
I always assumed they were given away as a marketing tool, but now I’m not sure! Well, I guess I can understand why it’s a big deal now, but either way, it caused a lot of exposure for their product which can’t be that bad in the end.
Awkward poses, plus I don’t like some of the photoshopped backgrounds… very tacky.

The calendar was really photoshopped, especially the month with the guys. The months with the girls look too exaggerated and Sharon chans pose looks so wierd. Actually all poses look kinda wierd. I don’t think Aimee fits in with January artists, she’s not at their level yet. Tvb is promoting her too much. Sonjia looks good with the younger miss hong kong’s though!
