Gillian Chung Doesn’t Know Her Boyfriend’s Name
After pictures of Gillian Chung (鍾欣桐) hanging out with her new beau surfaced on the web a few days ago, Gillian’s manager, Mani Fok (霍汶希), immediately confirmed the relationship the following day to prevent the rumors from flying out of control.
The reports indicated that Gillian and “Mr. K” met through a mutual friend, and that they had already been dating for several months when the news broke out.
During a Tai Po event on December 2, Gillian stayed tight-lipped regarding her boyfriend and her new relationship. However, Gillian expressed, “I never thought the relationship would be exposed so soon, but it turned out that it is not so bad after all. He was also well-prepared for it.”
Asked for Mr. K’s real surname, Gillian laughed and said, “I don’t know his surname!” The reporters then asked, “Then what do you call him?” Gillian responded, “I will not tell you guys!”
Before the reporters could pull out more information from Gillian, Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍), immediately said, “I call him Mr. Kimchi! Ah Gill’s intended meaning is that she doesn’t want to talk too much about her love life!” Asked if Charlene has met Mr. K before, Gillian said quickly, “They’ve met each other!”
As Mr. K is Korean, Gillian communicates with him in English. Had Mr. K said “I love you” to Gillian in Korean before? Gillian cried, “Not yet!” Would she spend her Christmas holidays with him? Gillian replied hastily, “He’s spending it with his family.”
Gillian refused to answer questions regarding Mr. K’s residence or career. Asked if he is a friend of G-Dragon’s, Gillian exclaimed, “Don’t trust the reports!”

She is using her relationship as a promotion tool for her new movie so she is going to keep dragging this topic for along time. Her and her company’s desperate attempt to create news to promote her movie is so lame! Gil said she was shock at the exposure yet her relationship was singlehandedly expose by the newspaper owned by EEG. So I don’t see how she is ‘shocked’ or ‘surprised’, in fact, she and her company may had staged the entire movie date to take those photos.
If she or EEG using her relationship to promote her movie then good for them. I seen other celebrities use dirtier tricks for promotion. Apparently its working for her because the news about her private life and movie is everywhere. And fans and anti-fans are commenting about it on every news site. Besides, EEG is known for its crazy promotional ideals so its not like Gillian came up with the idea all by herself.

Whether this low tictac is working or not, we’ll have to wait to see the box office for her movie. I doubt this will help and her movie will tank like usual cause Gil is more famous for her scandals than her work, that’s a fact. What I’m saying is that she knew clearly about this staged exposure but yet she still tries to act innocent like she was so clueless. To this day, I’ve always believed her ‘naked shoulder’ photos were staged by her company to help her career.
May be she doesn’t know her company was trying to create a story to promote her?

No, she isn’t dating Kush. Gil already confirm it on her blog that her new boyfriend isn’t Kush. Besides, Kush has visible tattoos on his arms and Gil’s boyfriend don’t have any tattoo from the photos that were released by her company so Kush is out of question.
