Linda Chung’s New Year Resolutions

Now that we all survived the December 21, 2012 apocalypse, how should we start the brand new year of 2013? When it comes to a year of new hopes and dreams, Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) is the first in line to express her New Year resolutions!

Acting and Singing

Having just released her fourth music album, Linda expressed that one of her 2013 New Year resolutions is to be able to perform at her own concert. She revealed that she is currently planning for one, explaining, “I have now accumulated over forty songs. I dream for a day to be able to sing on my own stage! But singing on stage takes a lot of courage.”

Linda’s first four years in the industry was dedicated to acting. Linda is normally confident about her acting performances, but when she stood on stage for her first singing performance, she almost had a nervous breakdown. “I’ve never had that experience before. The longer I sang, the harder my hands and voice shook!”

Linda also expressed her hope in getting cast into villain roles in the future, explaining that it is finally time for her to change her onscreen image.

Marriage in Four Years?

Linda is a self-proclaimed workaholic, but the 28-year-old revealed that she longs for the day she will get married and start a family. “I need to actively focus on my career now that I’m still young. After that, I should find a partner and marry him!” She laughed.

But when? “I want to have three children. I’m 28 years old now. Maybe when I’m 32 years old!” Linda joked. “It’s just a plan. My thoughts and ideas change every year. Many things can change in two years. I changed a lot from two years ago, and maybe I’ll actually get married two years later. Who knows what will happen?”

Health and Sleep

“I originally wanted to buy a flat, but now I just want to buy health and sleep,” Linda cried tiredly. “There has been many weird diseases and sicknesses lately. We never know what will happen in the future. All in all, I wish for my parents to have good health. I want my father to retire soon, so he will give me a chance to take care of him. He always wanted to be my driver. He told me that he would be able to see me more that way. He also told me to give him two more years!”
