Angelababy Has No Time to Celebrate 24th Birthday With Huang Xiaoming
Yesterday was Angelababy’s (楊穎) 24th birthday. This year is not only the year of her Chinese zodiac sign, but also her tenth year within the entertainment industry. What was her birthday wish? Angelababy expressed that she is very satisfied with her life, and there is nothing more to ask for.
Busy shooting for an advertisement in Shenzhen, Angelababy was unable to celebrate her special day. However, she revealed that the celebration had actually started last week, in which she has already cut a total of ten birthday cakes. Many friends wished Angelababy a happy birthday, including Kenny Lin (林更新), her costar in the movie, Detective Di: The Prequel <狄仁傑前傳>. Kenny posted a photo of her in a traditional costume on Weibo, sending his wishes. Angelababy’s manager, Kim, also revealed, “There is a surprise after she finished work.”
Angelababy’s boyfriend, Huang Xiaoming (黃曉明), has always been the romantic type of man. Although she had been working in New York during Valentine’s Day this year, Huang Xiaoming still sent her a bouquet of roses. Since he is currently in Beijing, did Huang Xiaoming give Angelababy a gift on her birthday? Kim expressed that she does not know. Furthermore, Angelababy will be flying to Paris tonight for a fashion event. It looks like the couple will have no time for a birthday celebration this year.

I personally think she has a forgettable face. Pretty but forgettable. Her name however is a very good name. Everyone knows Angelababy (mostly I suppose thanks to Handelababy) but I don’t think everyone can point her out from the crowd.
Yea, it’s a good name. You pointed out the reason why I don’t find her pretty, because its not special, these days a lot of girls look pretty, but they are just average or normal pretty or forgettable pretty as u it it (like alot of the new actresses are like this)

It’s one part in the comedy show Liza and 3 Gods, Handelababy is acted by a guy (Wong Cho Lam).
I doubt many knew who is angelababy out of HK. No doubt she is famous enough to be impersonated but handelababy sort of hijacked angelababy after what Wong Cho Lam did with that character.

I can’t take her seriously as an actress bcuz of her name. I just wanna know who her plastic surgeons are. They must get Xmas gifts from her every year! She’s very lucky to be working her these A list actor cuz her acting is a different story.

I know that she was not pretty before but she is now. A lot of people had plastic surgery but they only look a little better. I have a feeling that a lot of your guys here do not like her. I am not trying to offend anyone here but could it be because she is HXM’s girlfriend and that add to the plastic surgery make you guys dont like her. I neither like or dislike her. I just think she is pretty period. I have never seen any movies or anything with her it in so I am very neutral about her.
Uhm, only now I know she dated HXM, but I heard of her way b4 due to the PS talk. I think quite a few mentioned before that they don’t like her for 1- PS, 2- can’t act, has nothing to do with HXM. Also, most of the comments are quite tame so far, no one is hating her, we just dislike her due to the amount of PS she has really :p I’m ok with her, but I’m irk about her as a serious celebrity

but it is sick of angelababy to mess with her face just to look ‘pretty’. now at 24 years old she’s only an empty pretty robot face with multiple clones produced on the planet. she doesn’t have any acting talents either and was just banking on her made up face.
Few famous directors disagreed with you to say that Angelababy has talents in acting. I don’t really agree with them as I have a withdrawal to her acting, but they really said so. I guess it’s more important to her in her way of establishing a long career.
As for acting talent, let’s rethink it a bit. Perfect Cantonese, perfect Putonghua, her face is amazing and her management are really damn good at their jobs for getting her movie roles all year around. She’s a good actor, but you know what, getting roles in big movies means that she’s only gonna get better.
