Kenneth Ma Demands Kissing Scene With Myolie Wu in “Season of Love”
Currently broadcast new TVB drama, Season of Love <戀愛季節>, features Kenneth Ma (馬國明) and Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) as a romantic couple. Both of them remain single in status since their breakups with Nancy Wu (胡定欣) and Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), respectively. Kenneth admitted he has feelings for Myolie, and when the drama first began filming, he asked the producer to add in a kissing scene. Since this was not their first collaboration, Kenneth and Myolie were familiar with one another onscreen and sparked great chemistry.
Kenneth laughed and expressed that the kissing scene was very memorable. At the time, he was in a relaxed and romantic state of mind, facing no pressure at all. “The script originally did not have the kiss scene, but everyone thought there would be better chemistry if we kissed, and so we kissed on the lips! I was really happy, and I couldn’t even sleep for a couple nights!” Kenneth did not have the chance to share a kiss with Myolie back in the drama, To Grow With Love <肥田囍事>, so his wish has finally been fulfilled.
Hearing Kenneth’s remarks, Myolie laughed out loud and praised him for his frankness. She expressed that they have not collaborated for many years, and it is hard to believe he is now being referred to as the “Diamond Bachelor” by many. “I am very happy to be able to film with the ‘Diamond Bachelor’! Everyone’s relationship within the drama is really sweet, and there’s a small taste of Japanese romance.”
Myolie recalled filming another memorable scene in the drama, in which Kenneth had to pretend to be a bronze statue. It was a hot and humid day, and chocolate-colored sweat dripped constantly from Kenneth’s painted face. “If a man would do something like that for me in real life, I would be very touched.” Myolie said. What kind of man is she looking for? “Someone like Kenneth. Being a little boring is fine, but he’s way too quiet right now, I can’t stand it.” Turning to Kenneth, she added, “Being with you is like sending a sheep into a tiger’s mouth! No way!”
Myolie’s Rumors With Ma Tianyu
Last year, Myolie was rumored to be in a “sister-brother” relationship with mainland actor, Ma Tianyu (馬天宇). Yesterday, Myolie posted a picture of herself and Ma Tianyu on Weibo, unafraid of emphasizing the rumors. She commented along with the photo, “I finally saw you, lovely brother!”, followed by heart emoticons. A netizen later pointed out the two are a great match, and that Ma Tianyu bears some resemblance with Bosco Wong.

Anyways, I think Kenneth is really in it for this year’s TVB king title.
Last year, he looked really upset when Wayne got the 2012 TVB King title, so he’s definitely doing everything he can to win it this year.
Even if Kenneth Ma looked upset when Wayne got the 2012 TV King title, it was because he thought his good friend, Raymond Lam, would get it.
Edit: MM said himself that he isn’t friend with any of LF, Ron, Bosco, KC, etc. He said they are his colleague. I don’t know if MM has any male buddy in Txb because so far, I only see him friend with the girls.

agree. kenneth is the top contender this year and on call 2 this time will be aired in second half of the year and have better time slot than last year. kenneth’s biggest competition is only ruco. doubt wayne will win for the fourth time.

I think it’s too early to judge at this point of time. there’s Francis and Chilam from TITS2, Moses in Beauty at War 2 and the law show (forgot its name), and of course Wayne in the law show and Rosy business 3. All of them are strong contenders
Francis and chilam will never win the award. Neither of them will sign a contract with tvb in exchange for the award.

Glad to see netizen think they look matched. I have reservations for him because on the same day this guy appears to also mingle well with Bosco and besides he is too many years younger than myolie. I’d say my favourite ‘love story’ as of now in Seasons of Love is Nancy’s story. I can foresee her leading in a drama very soon. Hopefully Kenneth + Myolie’s story in the show would be better by a few notches
John Cleese used to do the same thing with Jamie Lee Curtis when filming with her… only John was the director / script writer and adding the kissing scenes in himself 😛

HK men’s hair is absolutely ridiculous. It’s either this weird frizzy pubic hair, the Hitler-youth hair where it’s swept to one side and the sides are shaved, or it’s the mushroom with glasses like 6Wing (which by the way, my god he’s like 30, if he plays another teenager in another I Love HK film then I will strip naked and annoy the grandmas selling cloths on the street)
