“Bu Bu Jing Qing” Unleashes 4 New Character Posters
Although not much is known about the production of the highly anticipated Bu Bu Jing Qing <步步惊情>, Tangren continues to build the hype for the Bu Bu Jing Xin <步步惊心> modern sequel with the release of four new character posters.
Two weeks ago, Tangren released its first set of character posters, which included Cecilia Liu (刘诗诗) as protagonist Zhang Xiao, Nicky Wu (吳奇隆) as Xiao’s love interest Yin Zheng, Damian Lau (劉松仁) as Kang Holdings CEO Kang Zhentian, Sun Yizhou (孙艺洲) as Kang’s eldest son Kang Sihan, Jiang Jingfu (蔣勁夫) as second son Kang Siyu, Ye Zuxin (叶祖新) as Zheng’s subordinate Jack, and Sean Chen (陈翔) as Xiao’s boyfriend, Huang Di.
While the last batch of poster releases featured the drama’s main male characters, this week’s poster unveiling gives us a quick look at four new female characters. The new set of posters feature Annie Liu (劉心悠) as Annie, Ye Qing (叶青) as Ye Yifan, Yico Tseng (曾轶可) as Ling Dang, and Elaine Cai (蔡姣) as Mo Xiaohe. Yico Tseng’s transformation as an androgynous rocker has also generated much heated discussion at online forums.
Bu Bu Jing Qing, a spiritual sequel to Bu Bu Jing Xin, takes place against the backdrop of modern-day Shanghai, amidst the world of business politics. Zhang Xiao, a white-collar worker, is hired to work at Zhentian Internet Group by chance and meets the business magnate Yin Zheng, falling in love with him.
Bu Bu Jing Qing commenced filming in Tianjin on March 2. Shooting is expected to be completed by June 2013.

Great to know more about this series and I guess Han Dong(the 9th prince) is not coming back. What a pity since I hoped to see him because Kevin and Yuan Hong are not participating. Maybe they can make some last minute cameos or something… Glad to see new people and hope the plot will be good…
Too bad Ma Tianyu isn’t in here since was in BBJX during the modern portion… It would have been interesting to see him in this one…
I am happy that Damian Lau in this series.
He is a very good actor. Looking forward to watch, too bad Kevin Cheng not in this series.

omg, finally someone agrees w/me. i know, annie liu is just so hot, whether it’s modern or historic. the other side of cecelia looks great too, don’t know who she is but very cute as well….

the comparison is between Annie and LSS, it’s not about “others”. Dunno why you’re bringing that up (because it’s common sense there are other actresses considered more beautiful than Annie.)

Thanks chiki, I know, I probably hit a nerve when i say i think Annie liu is hotter than Cecelia? She is probably die hard fan of Cecelia to jump to her defense in that way and had to bring up ‘others’ who are prettier. haha…
No, I am not a big fan of Cecilia at all. It’s just that michealscotfield often praises Annie like she is the most beautiful actress in the world or something… Therefore,I was just saying that there are others better, that’s all… He did not sound like he was only comparing the 2 of them.He just over praises Annie…
I also wanted to add that I am not a diehard fan of anyone at all. I get annoyed at those die hard fans so vow to never be like them.
Annie does stand out in the above picture. Maybe it’s the hairstyle, Annie’s hair style is much more flattering than LSS.

i’ve always thought annie was better looking than cecilia, but cecilia looked really cute and pretty in bbjx, especially when she smiled. the photo at the top is really unflattering and does her no justice. i hope she wears her hair differently in the series.
From the photos on the set released, she seems to keep that hairstyle, and looks about as bad as the above.
The whole series does not seem attractive at all.

To be honest, cecilia doesn’t suit this hairstyle. I have seen her with a lot of pretty hairstyles where she looks young and pretty. She looks a lot older than she is
I agree and Cecilia really looks so old with that hairstyle. I wonder if they did that on purpose.
The original BBJX had LSS sleeping around between two 40+ “uncles”, Nicky Wu and Kevin Cheng.
So who is the other “uncle” (beside Nicky) in this one?
From that promotional picture up there, it looks NICKY and DAMIEN are the only uncles? hahaha lol…The rest of the cast seems young which is good. I like young, I don’t really like to watch the older pair ups very much but since NICKY is a popular one I guess they had to add him in? However, even if this Cecelia is young, it seems not a problem to pair up w/oldies since it does not show that much on screen.

with all these hype bbjx modern still look lacklustre to me. especially without kevin, lin geng xin and many more original cast.
