[STYLE] Taking Fashion Inspiration from Pace Wu
Taiwanese model Pace Wu (吳佩慈) has been dressed by many fashion designers around the world, but off the catwalk, her personal fashion style dazzles and she always manages to turn heads with her wardrobe choices.
Here, we take a look at the diverse fashions that Pace wore while attending the Paris Fashion Week Spring 2013 shows held in earlier March.
One of her best looks for the Paris Fashion Week Spring 2013 show, Pace looked gorgeous and sexy in a tight fitting laser-cut leather dress with a sheer outer layer for the Loewe show. With her curly locks flowing freely down her shoulders, she was the epitome of beauty. The nude pointed heels completed the whole look.
Pace went green at the Elie Saab show when she appeared dressed in a beaded dress from the fashion house. With her hair tied in a loose pony tail, she completed her outfit with a green pair of heels and a green clutch.
Pace looks contemporary in a Viktor & Rolf pale blue gown with draped skirt and striking side bow. The minimalist Pace finished her look with a pair of Jimmy Choo Greta shoes and a pale pink clutch. The white jacket may be an extra, but it did little to spoil the perfect ensemble.
The one-shoulder look is not for everyone, but it seems to be a favorite of Pace and one can see why. She carries off the Givenchy Resort 2013 one-shoulder dress impeccably. She grunged up the whole look by donning the Givenchy peep-toe black and white boots, though ankle boots may have been a better choice.
One can’t help but be envious of Pace’s ability to bring out the best through the simplest of her attires. For the Chloe show, Pace turned up in a waist-baring cream outfit from Chloe. With a casual hairdo, her pair of silver Jimmy Choo Lance sandals, a couple of plastic bangles and a Chloe clutch, Pace’s ensemble was effortless and relaxed.
Pace attended the Carven fashion show in a white revealing embroidered cut-out summery dress from the Spring 2013 collection. To avoid a saccharine after taste, Pace completed the attire with a pair of black-laced ankle boots and an usual-looking clutch. With her hair down, her white/black pairing balanced beautifully.
Showing off her best asset, Pace attended the Shiatzy Chen fashion show in a bright yellow ensemble consisting of a boxy jacket top and a pair of satin shorts. Another pair of Jimmy Choo heels, but this time in dark pink to match her kisslock clutch, Pace managed to be sweet and plucky at the same time.
Pace went iridescent gold at the Stella McCartney show. Once again showing off her slender legs, she went to the show in a metallic peplum-shorts set and finished the look with a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps and a python clutch.
Looking extremely divine and heavenly in a puff-sleeved full-length floral Valentino dress, Pace was nothing short of breathtaking. The cinched waist gave the dress a much-needed modern touch. The floral clutch may be a little too much though.
With another classic look at the Giambattista Valli show, Pace did a better job this time with her red and ivory two-piece outfit. Matched with her pair of Christian Louboutin pumps and a casual hairdo, Pace definitely stole the show.
For the Louis Vuitton show, Pace wore a printed dress with a white jacket. With her hair up in a bun and a white headband to finish off the look, she looks elegant and poised.
Another asymmetrical look from Pace, she showed up at the Lanvin fashion show in a chartreuse mini dress. The dress was paired with a pair of black and white heels to match the bow on one of the shoulders. With her hair tied loosely up, she looked divine.

Pace Wu has the ability to effortlessly pull off anything she’s wearing. Love the shorts suits she wore, which showed off her long legs. She is an elegant lady at red carpet events.
The blue dress with the bow is ugly; the tail is too long. The white dress with the lace in the chest area looks like a wedding being chopped to the knee. At first look, I didn’t like the floral peach dress, but the more the I look at it the more I like it. However, the two-piece red and white next to it was overwhelming on her. She looked like she’s slouching in them.
The rest of her looks were great. A true fashionista. Love all her shoes.
Great taste, yes! great style, NO! I find her style is so boring, no personality, and no accessories. Just a pretty girl putting on a pretty dress.
i agree, i believe blake lively has style.
Gosh she looks annorexic, too white and too skinny, where are the curves and a little tan would look so much better.
She looked incredible at the Carven fashion show. Not so sure about the rest.
sure she wears expensive designer clothes but it looks like the clothes are wearing her and not the other way around. some celebs will wear anything as long it’s designer label which makes them look like a fashion victim.
Every outfit is fine except for the silver dress with knee high’s!
Errr I don’t like all of her choices or her make up or her hair. Looks a bit dowdy. She is a pretty girl, tall with killer legs and fair complexion but I feel she is without any personality in terms of fashion.
