Louisa So Hints at Starring Opposite Tony Leung Ka Fai
The buzz has been sizzling for weeks since Tony Leung Ka Fai (梁家輝) confirmed his return to the small screen in April 2013, right after winning his fourth Best Actor title at the Hong Kong Film Awards. Producer Chong Wai Kin (莊偉建) confirmed that Tony will star in his upcoming TVB drama that will begin principal photography in September 2013.
Media outlets reported that Michael Miu (苗僑偉) will star alongside Tony, and that Raymond Lam(林峯) is negotiating to star as well. There has been no official announcement yet on who Tony’s female lead will be, but there is speculation that Louisa So (蘇玉華) has signed up for a part in the series. In fact, Louisa herself hinted at this possibility during a brief press meet for her stage production with Tse Kwan Ho (謝君豪), The Mad Phoenix <南海十三郎>.
Louisa elatedly said, “I just received a call today, and I will return [to TVB] to film a drama later.” She teased, “I was really excited after the phone call!”
Asked if she would be starring in a drama with Tony, Louisa smiled and said, “I don’t know!”
TVB is keeping tight wraps on the new Tony project, but it is known that the drama will do some location shooting in Vietnam.

I thought Louisa So was one of the most underrated actresses during the Flora Chan, Kenix Kwok, Jessica Hsuan era. LOVE LOUISA SO and when I saw the interview earlier I was so excited!

YAY! Now this news I am happy about 🙂 I really enjoy her acting, especially in TITS when she potrayed Ruby Jeh xD hahaha. Her acting has always been quite solid and convincing to me. I can’t wait to see her upcoming performance in OC2, and hopefully this series too.

Love her + Wayne Lai in one of the older TVB series named Anti Crime Squad. Wayne was the Head of the Anti Crime Squad & she was a fish stall owner in the market. They were so cute and good!
