Him Law Admires Nick Cheung’s Body

After training long and hard for his role in Dante Lam’s (林超賢) upcoming boxing flick, MMA <激戰>, 45-year-old Nick Cheung (張家輝) decided to preserve his once-in-a-lifetime muscular physique and posed for some photos for JET Magazine. Nick’s photos are widely circulated and distributed online; even Him Law (羅仲謙), who is known for his toned body, admitted his jealousy of the film star!

Earlier this week, Him attended Biotherm’s new sun care launch with singer Shiga Lin (連詩雅). At the mention of Nick’s new robust body, the 28-year-old actor expressed his admiration for Nick and would use his figure as a target of reference. “I didn’t even look that amazing when I was in my best shape,” gushed Him.

How many “chocolate abs” did Him have when he was in his best shape? “I don’t know… maybe seven? Definitely not eight!”

When asked if his abs were the most attractive feature for his girlfriend, Him said, “I think… a man’s most attractive feature is… his kindness and [positive] mindset, and not the physical body. There will be a day when the body [figure] will be lost.” But maintaining a fit body can give Him more self-confidence? “I don’t think I would be able to maintain that mentality [of looking fit]. By the time I hit 40 of 50, I don’t think I’ll have the same drive to do it.”

Him then added with a chuckle, “Maybe I’ll end up having that iconic standard male body when I get to that age.”

The TVB star also admitted to his hesitation in doing [swimming briefs] modeling, “I don’t want to do it, and it feels like I’m wearing my underwear. I’m just not ready to do it yet. There’s also lot of preparation to do, such as making sure that I’m not getting exposed inadvertently. I’ll do it if I get to wear beach trunks though!”
