Kate Tsui Helps Samantho Ko Score Rich Husband
TVB is hoping that My Prime Lady <My盛Lady> will salvage plummeting viewership ratings. The Dayo Wong (黃子華) drama is currently being filmed and slated for year-end release.
My Prime Lady is a 20-episodes modern comedy about how an ex-playboy, in his bid to atone for his past wrong-doings, tries to repackage middle-aged single women so that they are able to find husbands. Kate Tsui (徐子珊) and Samantha Ko (高海寧) play a pair of materialistic sisters, in which Kate helps Samanth marry into a rich family. Samantha threw herself into the arms of Bob Lam <林盛斌>, an internet radio boss. Her boyfriend, Sammy Sum (沈震軒), was so devastated that he got himself drunk and fell on the floor, amidst a pile of dog food.
In another scene, Kate and Samantha were filming outside a commercial building in Kowloon Tong. The sisters appeared to be engrossed in a heated argument. Even though the women were wearing mini skirts, their animated scene as well as their heavy makeup caused them to perspire profusely. In between takes, they had to pile on more makeup.
Earlier, Toby Leung (梁靖琪) was also seen filming for the drama in Mong Kok as well as Tsim Sha Tsui. In one scene, Toby was seen hugging boyfriend, Jazz Lam (林子善) passionately. Toby often uses Jazz’s money to satisfy her materialism. After numerous attempts to convince his good friend to break up with Toby, Dayo Wong (黃子華) eventually managed to persuade Jazz to leave Toby. The emotional scene caused a crowd to form in the bustling streets of downtown Hong Kong.
