Michelle Ye’s Real Boyfriend is Wallace Huo?
Since leaving TVB in 2005, Michelle Ye (葉璇) has turned her attention to mainland China, participating in high-profile films and drama projects that allowed her abundant savings. In 2011, she took a chance at entrepreneurship and established a production company that has thus far produced three drama series. With various income streams and luxury residences in Hong Kong and China, Michelle is surely one of the wealthiest celebrities today. Despite this, the 33-year-old actress still carefully manages her spending and handles all matters personally.
Romantic Rumors
Although she rarely speaks about her romantic life, gossip is never at a standstill. With her new mainland drama, The Ninth Widow <第九个寡妇> airing on Zhejiang Satellite TV, Michelle was rumored to be kissing and dating costar Li Dongxue (李東學) on the filming set. After both denied the news as being fabricated, Michelle was reported to be dating Wallace Huo (霍建华).
A photo of Michelle and Wallace in a tight embrace surfaced recently, and the pair allegedly have been dating secretly for one month. Michelle and Wallace collaborated in 2005’s World’s Finest <天下第一> and had romantic sparks, which were re-ignited when they ran into each other in Hengdian recently. Producing his first drama, Perfect Couple <金玉良缘>, Wallace had many questions for the more experienced Michelle.
Adding to complexity of the relationship, Wallace supposedly broke off with Ruby Lin (林心如) because of Ruby’s more successful career. Wallace’s representative brushed off Wallace’s rumors with Ruby, which circulated since last year.
Michelle Injured on Set
With romantic rumors flying, Michelle’s work schedule is even busier. Earlier in June, Michelle made a brief trip to Hong Kong to attend a press conference announcing the upcoming film Overheard 3 <竊聽風雲3>. Michelle will reprise her role as Tsui Foon in the crime thriller’s latest installment, which also stars Louis Koo (古天樂), Lau Ching Wan (劉青雲), and Daniel Wu (吳彥祖).
Returning back to mainland China, Michelle Ye (葉璇) has been handling her own action stunts and bruised her arm heavily. The new mainland drama required Michelle to do many action stunts, including jumping down several feet below. Showing the painful bruise, Michelle posted on Weibo, “A minute on the stage, the pain lasts a long time offstage.”
This is not Michelle’s first injury from filming. Back in 2005 when she was still filming for TVB, she injured her eyes while filming The Herbalist’s Manual <本草藥王>, causing her eyes to tear in blood. She had to undergo surgery to unclog her eyes. In the same year, she injured her nose bridge while working in another film for director Wong Jing (王晶). She had to be rushed to for medical attention the day after when she started having nose bleeds. It was later confirmed that the cartilage of her nose was damaged.
She doesn’t look like Michelle the las time ive seen her. Looks different.
Yeah, she get double eyelid. She was orginally single eyelid.
Before there was an article here that talks about which celebrities might have eyelid surgery, and Michelle was one on the list.

Maybe the pictures are misleading, but it looks like she’s had more work done on her face than just the eyelid surgery. In the two pics from your link, her cheeks are rounder and she had protruding cheekbones. In the two pics above, her cheekbones look flatter. Maybe she lost weight and have different make-up on so she looks a bit different??
Definately she have eyelids surgery, that for sure. Watch her old TVB series when she first enter TVB, you will definately see her eyelids are not as double and visible like right now.

She could have used eyelid tape instead of surgery. Many artists use that to make their eyes look bigger. I don’t think Michelle looks that much different than when she first started out. Her eyes are originally a lot smaller, but make up and eyelid tape can easily make the eyes bigger. Even if she did get any type of surgery, it was most likely very minor…
She also stabbed herself in the thigh pretty badly while filming Central Affairs. Where’s the photo of Wallace and Michelle? They had a lot of chemistry while on set World’s finest, so I’m not surprised if something sparked.

Time will tell all and reporters can easily make things up with just a simple photo. I remember back when the crew of HZGG 3 were having a dinner together and many promotion events today. They were all crying since they grew so close while filming and did not want to separate. However, some reporters took those photos of them crying and said that they were crying due to the bad ratings. Therefore, they could have done the same thing in this case. Also, since the photo is blurry who knows if it is Wallace or not? Even if it was, what is wrong when 2 long times friends hug when they see each other?? There is nothing wrong with that.
It would actually be great if they did date in real life since I loved their chemistry in Tian Xia Di Yi. But real life and on screen are 2 different worlds.
HeTieShou, agree that it would be great for them to date in real life because I love them in Tian Xia Di Yi. Was so gutted that their romance ended in tragedy then… But as you’ve said real life is different…
So silly of reporters! Yes, that was Wallace but it was during his filming of Swordsmans and since she was in the area, she went to visit him and they gave each other a friend to friend hug since they have seen each other for ages.
That is normal of reporters and it is not just reporters but a lot of people,especially older Asian people. I have noticed that if they see a male and female together then they would automatically think they are a couple. I remember seeing in a series where a guy was shopping with his older sister, but his friends who did not know his sister thought he was shopping and going out with some girl. They were all so embarrassed after he told them it was his older sister.

Yeah usually she does not look too feminine too me sorry Michelle Ye’s fans just my opinion dont get mad. But she looks great in the first pic. Honestly I dont think this rumor is true. Michelle Ye too me is a strong career woman and I feel like she would date and married some rich multimillionaire businessman like most of the actresses: Vicky or Michelle Reis, etc.

Michelle is a tough girl who is a bit tomboyish which I don’t find necessarily a bad thing. She had a tough life and has come through it all and now has success. I personally don’t think Michelle is someone that would necessarily marry someone rich or a businessman since she is really capable of making her own money, is really independent, etc.. so what makes you think that she would take that route for sure? But it is true that most actresses either marry another actor, someone in the circle or someone rich well off… I have seen that with most actresses.

I also do not think she aged too badly. IF that photo with the bruise her without make up, she does not look too bad. Boy, I think we have all seen other actresses and how they look without it… Some did not look like what we usually see at all. Michelle still looks like herself.
Agreed. I think she had minimal make up on in that second photo but she definitely still resembles herself unlike other actresses who look completely different with and without make up on.

There isn’t that much of a difference between the two pics. The first picture is photoshopped. A lot of artists pictures nowadays are photoshopped. The 2nd pic is more natural, but Michelle is still recognizable. Anyway, that’s a pretty bad bruise.

Ruby Lin already very publicly denied any love affair with Wallace who by his silence when confronted by Ruby in an interview admitted there wasn’t anything.
As for with Michelle Ye, I find that incredible since at the same time he was rumoured with Joe Chen and we all know who Joe was dating at that time.
I am sure Wallace is seeing someone but is she Michelle? I don’t think so. They were and maybe still is very very close friends.
michelle seems to be of a similar businesswoman type as ruby – rich, ambitious, successful, has vision and good connections. maybe it is all a pub stunt as wallace may be starring in one of michelle’s productions later on. who knows? maybe it is still true but i still have m fingers crossed for wallace-ruby.
