Joe Ma’s “Injury” Frightens Fans and Wife

An extremely battered Joe Ma (馬德鐘) uploaded a photo of himself on a hospital bed on August 22, writing, “I, Tiger Cubs’ Chin Sir, has been injured again! Head trauma and burnt face!” In the photo, Joe’s head is tightly bandaged and cheeks were seriously burnt.

Fans immediately commented on the post and wrote in their concerns for Joe. After noticing the fake backdrop, some fans asked Joe was merely shooting a hospital scene for Tiger Cubs 2 <飛虎II>, which is currently filming behind schedule.

The actor later replied, “Look at the electrical switches behind, then you will know! Haha!”

Joe’s wife, Karen Cheung (張筱蘭), replied, “You scared [me] to death! But that is really good makeup! This ‘bed photo’ looks quite different. Have a beauty with you? Having to portray different characters as an actor sounds quite fun, and very challenging! But having to live through such a disordered lifestyle sounds difficult! Respect! Respect!”
