Ruco Chan and Edwin Siu’s “Brother’s Keeper” Premieres September 23
Amy Wong’s (王心慰) upcoming epic television drama for TVB, Brother’s Keeper <巨輪>, is slated to premiere on TVB Jade this coming September 23, taking over the time slot of Always and Ever <情逆三世缘>.
Starring Louise Lee (李司棋), Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Edwin Siu (蕭正楠), Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣), Kristal Tin (田蕊妮), and Louis Yuen (阮兆祥), Brother’s Keeper was formally introduced to the public in November 2012, at TVB’s 2013 Sales Presentation event. The drama was also one of the seventeen promoted TVB dramas presented at the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market.
Filming took place in Macau and Hong Kong from October 2012 to February 2013.
Lau Kong (劉江), Louis Cheung (張繼聰), Susan Tse (謝雪心), Leanne Li (李亞男), and Ankie Beilke (貝安琪) also star.
Synopsis
The story begins in the year 1980. Kiu Tin Sang (Ruco Chan) and Law Wai Shun (Edwin Siu), both Foshan natives, are half-brothers of the same mother. Doomed by destiny, not only do the two brothers have to be separated by land, they also have to go through some of history’s most climatic events and conflicts. To escape mainland China’s political reality, the brothers’ mother, Chau Yuk Mui (Louise Lee), illegally immigrates to Macau, then a colony of Portugal, with her youngest son, Shun.
With the support of good friends Yiu Man Ying (Kristal Tin) and Lung Fei (Louis Yuen), the diligent Shun overcomes difficulties and unleashes a future of success. Older brother Sang, however, has to rely on only himself in British Hong Kong, and though he follows his father’s footsteps and becomes a cop, Sang develops close links with triad member Keung Yung (Louis Cheung) and gets involved in a deceptive romantic relationship with a wealthy heir. In the end, Sang loses everything to greed and ambition.
The family is broken. It was the wheels of our era that washed away their innocence, and the future ahead becomes unpredictable. Though the two brothers are walking farther apart, their faith in each other never changes. Even if the challenges ahead get more difficult, there will always be a road where they will eventually meet again.

It’s not the same. The clip Jayne provided is 1:18.. The one I provided is 1:40. Apart from the different language narration.. There are several new scenes being added in. The link I provided is the most recent clip that was screened at the Beijing TV festival. Therefore the narration is in mandarin
Yes, looking forward to this too but at the same time, wish that ROE is shown first. Ah well, TVB is weird to put an action series costing a lot of money on hold. Storyline sounds interesting but will hate the sad ending for Ruco. However, i think his role is more interesting and multi-faceted than Edwin’s good brother role and has more room for him to showcase his acting skills from action hero to fallen hero.

Hope the storyline is believable and realistic. With a well written character, Ruco will give his usual superb performance and make Kiu Tin Sang comes alive on screen.
Csn’t wait. This is my most expected series this year. Excited to see Ruco & Linda as a pair. Have confidence in Ruco’s acting and wish he will get some awards this year with this series.
Is Ruco suppose to be older than Edwin ,why the cast Edwin as elder brother,Edwin seem younger than Ruco while Ruco have more mature look,am I right?
