Aimee Chan and Baby are Safe After Car Accident

Merely hours after returning to Hong Kong, five-month pregnant Aimee Chan (陳茵媺) was involved in a car accident. The collision involved four vehicles and worried Moses Chan (陳豪), who rushed to the hospital to see his wife. Fortunately, Aimee and her baby are safe.

After the promotion for Slow Boat Home <情越海岸線> ended in May, Aimee halted all work to rest and prepare for her Paris wedding. To accommodate her family, the couple then held a Chinese wedding banquet celebration in Toronto, Canada in July. Afterward, Aimee remained in Canada and was under the loving care of her family. In the early months of her pregnancy, Aimee vomited heavily and did not gain much weight.

On Saturday morning, Aimee was spotted at the Hong Kong International Airport, looking radiant and happy to be back in Hong Kong. When asked about the baby’s gender, name and her date of delivery, Aimee dodged the questions. Accompanied by Moses, she then left the airport for their new love nest in Beverly Hills in Tai Po.

Yesterday, Aimee drove herself around town while Moses was working. Around 3 p.m., Aimee was travelling along Ting Kok Road and driving towards Beverly Hills in the slow lane. When she drove past the traffic light at Fortune Garden, a trailing car suddenly tried to cut into her lane but instead, hit Aimee’s car. The car then hit another car which eventually led to a four-vehicle collision. When police arrived at the scene, Aimee told them that she was feeling unwell, and was immediately sent to the nearby Nethersole Hospital for examination.

Moses, who was at work filming for upcoming movie, Peer to Peer <點對點>, was scheduled to attend the movie’s promotional event later in the afternoon. Moses cancelled his appearance in order to visit Aimee at the hospital. Fortunately, after the examination, Aimee and the baby were found to be unhurt and could be discharged from hospital the same day.

Aimee’s manager commented on Aimee’s condition, “It was considered a light traffic accident. Aimee is extremely healthy and her baby is lively inside her belly. There’s no need for everyone to worry!”

  1. OK, looking at that picture I hope she wasn’t taking a selfie while driving.

    1. No, this was picture she took when she was still in Canada.

      1. If you look at the back the bus is a double decked with 101 or 104? She was in HK when she took this!

  2. Very glad that Aimee and her unborn baby are safe and sound. I guess it is too hectic to drive in Hong Kong, and Aimee has not driven in Hong Kong for quite a few months. Perhaps she has got used to the driving habits in Toronto (though still pretty bad, but not as bad as the one in Hong Kong).

Take care, Aimee, and just relax and enjoy life in Hong Kong.

  3. Perhaps she shdnt b driving since she just got back drive safe anyways!

  4. Oh how I hate Aimee! Ugly and no acting skill! I wonder what Moses sees in her! He can even make her pregnant! Disgusting!

    1. Moses definitely sees a lady who is the love of his life who doesnt condemn other pregnant women like you did.

    2. Moses himself is ugly and he doesn’t age well at all. He’s getting the good end of the bargain. Aimee may have bad acting skills but she is definitely a looker.

    3. Your name is also Aimee. Does it mean that you hate your own self?

  5. I honestly must say that these days, it is scary driving, because you may never know what terrible driver you may encounter during the ride.
