Nicky Wu and Cecilia Liu Living Together?
Only a week after Nicky Wu (吳奇隆) and Cecilia Liu (劉詩詩) officially announced that they were dating, rumors have broken out that the lovers are already living together in Shanghai. However, Nicky denied these claims.
“I’ve never bought a house in Shanghai before, nor have I ever seen the house in the photos,” Nicky said in response to the allegations. According to his manager Ren Yue (任玥) and Cecilia’s manager Ruan Ning (阮寧), both actors are busy filming.
Since Nicky and Cecilia were such a successful on-screen couple in their first collaboration, Bu Bu Jing Xin <步步驚心>, many fans are eager to learn as much as possible about their real-life romance. But in a recent interview, Nicky asked that they give him and Cecilia a little breathing room. “Don’t scare her off!” he added with a laugh.
Though Nicky has kept quiet on the details surrounding their relationship, his happiness is evident to everyone. Even rude remarks about the couple’s 17-year age gap are not enough to rattle him.
“The age gap is a fact,” he said, “but there will always be different opinions and matters. [These remarks] are actually a form of entertainment for others in their leisure time, and they don’t matter to me.”
Nicky is also keeping tight-lipped about his ex-wife Ma Yashu (馬雅舒), who recently wrote on Sina Weibo that she never took money from Nicky after their divorce in 2009, despite claims that she received 1 million RMB and six luxury homes as part of their separation package.
“I am currently in a very happy stage, and I can forgive and dispel many things,” said Nicky. “I have never talked about these [divorce] issues before, and I still refuse to change my principles of being a man just because of a few reports. Thus, I will not mention these again.”
