Him Law Planning Ahead for Marriage
Approaching his tenth year as a television and film actor, Him Law (羅仲謙) said he is very satisfied with his career. Last year, Him earned the opportunity to lead in the film Young and Dangerous: Reloaded <古惑仔：江湖新秩序>, where he portrayed the second generation Chan Ho Nam. Him also had the chance to costar alongside A-list actors in the 2013 3D fantasy film The Monkey King <西游記之大鬧天宮>, which is still playing in theaters and has earned over one billion RMB in the mainland China box office.
“I hope to continue to improve in 2014,” said Him. “I want more challenges and earn the audience’s full attention.” He expressed his interest in starring in action films and epic family dramas, also saying, “I really don’t mind playing unlikable characters like a prodigal son.”
Him’s debut film was 2005’s Mob Sister <阿嫂>, which starred Eric Tsang(曾志偉), Anthony Wong (黃秋生), and Simon Yam (任達華). Him said he wants to continue to work with more award-winning actors, and is hoping for an opportunity to work with Tony Leung Chiu Wai (梁朝偉). On asking which actress he hopes to work with, Him confessed, “I haven’t thought about that one.”
Was Him afraid that girlfriend Tavia Yeung (楊怡) would grow jealous of him? Him laughed, “No, it’s just that I would like to film scenes that involve men, like bromance.”
Him and Tavia began dating in 2012, shortly after shooting the TVB drama The Hippocratic Crush <On Call 36小時>. The couple intended to keep their relationship underground, but photographed in a compromising position inside Him’s car in 2012 forced the couple to admit their relationship.
The 29-year-old admitted that he had been thinking a lot about his future and hoped that his relationship with Tavia will be pushed to new heights in the New Year. Asked if he already has plans to start a family with Tavia, he said, “Even if I don’t have a partner, as a man, I should start having plans, whether it’s for my parents, my other half, my family, or for the people around me. Actually, I’ve already started preparing a few years ago.”
Him will marry as soon as he is financially ready. “I don’t think I’m there yet. I really don’t want to hastily get married. For my other half, I should be well-prepared before marriage.”

Not to offend anyone supporting Tavia and Him but I truly think they do not suit each other! I think that Mandy Wong and Him Law are more fitting for each other!! More than a year already and still at the stage of getting to know each other? I think it’s time for them to get married already, it’s almost two years, not two months. I do think that they are using each other for publicity too, since Him always try to give free publicity for Tavia in most of his interviews, and vice versa.
They might be together for more than a year already. But what’s a year when you don’t even get to spend that much time together given the work schedule that you have. Unless you cohabit I guess.

So far the only photos tabloids have are them in the car. No photos of them having dinner, also no photos of them going vacation together. Amazing, LOL!
And not one single picture. Even super careful Ruco once had his pictures of shopping for underwear with his girlfriend splashed on tabloids. I have a feeling this is Bernice and Moses type of relationship. If there was anything, there is nothing now. I will say there never was. Tavia needed a sexy handsome dangerous guy to up her boring image. Him needed a decent nice girl who has the least sexy image to drum up his nice guy image after his disastrous public image. And see how every likes this pair hence it worked. If they do marry, then my apologies. But until then, I feel they’re PR stunt.

There was this one Korean couple, 2 are actor and actress. They want their private get away, so they run to France. As we know France do not have many Korean nor Chinese.
But they still manage to get their photos taken by the fans. And next day it upload to everywhree online, LOL!
So given that, Tavia are quite famous in Hong Kong. If she and Him did indeed go have dinner, or vacation together with family. Surely there will be at least one fan snap their photos. Tabloids in HK are good at follow them, they won’t let someone like Tavia slip by.
To Leilafan, I am not a fan of Tavia at all but I think it’s doable if they only limit their activities inside. I doubt Tavia and Him want to be in headlines again after get caught in an embarrassing manner and caused a huge stir a year ago.
Myolie Wu also said she had tried dating someone for two months and didn’t work it out, but no one also got any pictures of it. So it means these celebrities simply limit their activities in a closed area where only select few can see them, and where the average citizens or general public or reporters won’t meet them.
Going to public locations overseas is still out in the open, Chinese are everywhere and there are bound to be recognized. Wasn’t there news that Tavia and Him secretly travel with Him Law to South Korea back then? I hope they didn’t went there to get some plastic surgery technologies.
But in another note, it can also mean Tavia is not newsworthy to report on, that is why Him Law had to bring her up by him own effort everytime in his interviews.

I don’t follow Tavia and Him news, therefore I don’t know about they going to Korea. Just that prior to the car accident, there were not any shots of them together.
What you say are also possibility. Could be that they super careful. From all their interviews, the ways they reply to reporters, their answers very similiars. Rather they plan it out ahead or they very comparable know each others very well.
Either way, I like them together. Hope they get married too.
What I meant here is, if Tavia is that newsworthy, the paparazzi would’ve been on her tail 24/7 to capture her love life with Him, just like what they did to other couples. It’s just another scenario.
I don’t like this two much, both don’t give me intelligent or class feeling. They look like average HKers you can meet in Mongkok or Kowloon street and their acting are so so. So I don’t care much whether they want to get married or not.

LOL, there were photos of them on vacation together in China…it was at the end of last year when Tavia was just starting her break after filming. She went with her mother as well that time…

Fans did not catch a photo of them together in their trip to China with Tavia’s mom. The fan took a picture separately with Tavia and then separately with Him. But the environment was in similar surroundings.
