Eliza Sam Doesn’t Feel Ostracized by “Special Female Force” Cast

The latest gossip claims that Eliza Sam (岑麗香) suffered ostracism from her costars on the set of Wilson Chin‘s (錢國偉) Special Female Force <辣警霸王花>. The action-packed movie, which tells a story about a group of female cadets, features over ten prominent female roles. The movie also features Joyce Cheng (鄭欣宜), Jade Leung (梁琤), Jacquelin Chong (莊思敏),Jeana Ho (何佩瑜), Cathryn Lee (李元玲), Anita Chui (崔碧珈), Jacky Choi (蔡潔), Calinda Chan (陳宛蔚), and CoCo Yuen (袁紫僑).

Due to her hot popularity, Eliza was allegedly ignored and ostracized by the rest of the female cast. It was said that the cast was jealous of Eliza’s significant screen time in the film.

The source said, “When they went to shoot the film in Malaysia, Anita, Cathryn, and Jeana were already pretty close because they’ve known each other since their modeling days. They’re always together. Eliza is not close with some of the girls. Also considering that Eliza has been in the media’s spotlight since day one, the others was also some jealousy. The only time when the girls would interact with Eliza is when they’re eating meals with the director.”

Although ignored by many members of the cast, Eliza made friends with Joyce and Jeana, who share a lot of screen time with her.

In an interview, Eliza denied that she was ostracized by the cast. “Although we have a lot of our own individual scenes, there were also many group scenes so we would see each other every day. Action scenes are stressful to film and we came together to support each other. I don’t think there’s a rift between us.”

Although not new to action scenes, Eliza has injured herself several times during filming. In one accident, she injured her kneecaps in a fight scene. In another accident, she fell to the ground and scraped her head with her headpin, which caused her to bleed. Despite the injuries, Eliza said she is grateful for having the opportunity to star in the film and gain more experience.
