Louis Koo, Donnie Yen, and Carina Lau at “All’s Well, Ends Well 2011” Premiere
The premiere of Lunar New Year comedy, All’s Well, Ends Well 2011 <最强囍事> held its premiere in Beijing yesterday. The film is a Raymond Wong Pak Ming production and stars Donnie Yen Chi Dan, Louis Koo Tin Lok, and Carina Lau Ka Ling. All’s Well, Ends Well 2011 will also beCecilia Cheung Pak Chi’s first comeback film in five years.
To match with the upcoming festivities of the Lunar New Year holiday, Donnie Yen wore a red trench coat at the All’s Well, End’s Well 2011premiere. Since his role in the film was a departure from his normal action roles, Donnie said the filming experience for All’s Well, End’s Well 2011was very relaxing. Donnie loved to deliver a good joke and he hoped that the audience will discover a new side of him in the film.
Working with Donnie Yen for the first time, Carina Lau was full of praise. “Donnie has a lot of stamina and he is very professional. I learned a lot from him. Perhaps due to the impression his previous roles delivered, many people thought he led an uninteresting lifestyle. After working with him, I found this was not true. ” Carina noted that she will be celebrating the Lunar New Year Holiday with husband, Tony Leung Chiu Wai. Showcasing their loving marriage, Carina said that they have already made their holiday plans and will be exchanging gifts.
Since Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi was filming in Inner Mongolia for Lady Warriors of Yang Family <杨门女将之军令如山>, she was unable to attend the premiere of All’s Well, Ends Well 2011, disappointing many fans. Furthermore, Cecilia injured her face in an earlier battle scene in Lady Warriors of Yang Family. Louis Koo hoped that Cecilia was on her road to a speedy recovery.

Jayne: Raymond Wong’s comedies are usually crowd pleasers. All’s Well, Ends Well 2011 has a star studded cast and may be an interesting film.
I look forward to this movie! Very interesting cast and it is refreshing to see Carina and Donnie in a comedy. I’m also anticipating Cecilia’s comeback!
How is Donnie Yen funny??
When someone who’s always all heroic kicking and beating others b***s in movies suddenly acted all goofy and out of his previous characters, then that can be “refreshing” and “funny”.
It’s like, how is Jackie Chan romantic?
Well, I might watch this one just for Carina Lau. She is funny.
For Carina Lau?
Lol – that would be the last reason I’ll watch this movie.
She’s got elegance and stuck by the right men.
The last 2 ‘All Well Ends Well’ were not that funny though. Hope this new one delivers.
I don’t think it will be. Not being a spoil sport but I juat can’t imagine how this cast can be exceptionally funny. The first one had a-list stars, one dead, the rest moved on. How time flies.
The first one was classic. I see Theresa Mo on screen now and I still think All’s Well Ends Well.
I also liked the 1997 one with retarded Christy Chung.
After that, nahhhhhhhhhh.
Stephen Chow and Maggie Cheung – Lol, funny chemistry. Maggie was a bit dull but Stephen, as usual, delivered.
teresa mo and leslie cheung – cutest couple ever.
sandra ng – random mo lei tou jokes flying around.
i thoroughly enjoyed part 1 =)
Remember Stephen singing that famous song in what dialect was it? Teochew? Hokkien?
It was Hokkien. I wonder if the Hongkongers found that hilarious since they don’t understand Hokkien?
Really cannot wait to see this flick! Have been rewatching DIF3 hehe
