Bosco Wong Starts Wine Business
Besides his popularity as an actor in Hong Kong and Mainland China, Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) is also a formidable businessman in his spare time. Already realizing a profit from the oyster bar he opened in Hong Kong last year, Bosco believes in re-investing his earnings. In 2013, partnered with friends to start up a new wine business.
With a passion for wine drinking, Bosco opened his own wine company called Click Your Wine (CYW). The company stocks wines from around the world and sells them to customers through a website. Although CYW is still fairly new, it is estimated that the site already stocks approximately 4000 bottles of premium wine. Besides being a wine supplier for his own restaurant OysterMine, Bosco bought a 1500 square feet wine cellar where he plans to host wine tasting events.
Denying rumors that his next step would be to open a winery, Bosco expressed, “Woah! I never thought of becoming a billionaire! Let’s talk about that later. Right now, I want to focus on my restaurant and wine business. I’ll see if there are good opportunities later.”
Bosco is currently filming Mainland drama, Destined to Love You <偏偏喜欢你>, with Joe Chen (陳喬恩) in Hengdian.
