Kevin Cheng on Passionate Kiss with Tavia Yeung in “Eye in the Sky”
After one week of broadcast, Eye in the Sky <天眼> has been receiving praises from viewers. Kevin Cheng‘s (鄭嘉穎) kiss with Tavia Yeung (楊怡) heated up television screens as well.
Despite their passionate night together, Tavia’s character was dismayed that Kevin’s character did not seem to remember her. She often thought about their encounter, with the kiss appearing in numerous flashback scenes. Tavia admitted that this was one of the most daring scenes she has filmed in her career, while Kevin said he was very careful during the filming, as he realized this was a key scene in the drama.
Due to the series’ popularity, a fan recently made a parody mocking the opening scene where the police team was eating fried chicken in the series. Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) laughed and said, “The scene was deliberate. It was one of the sponsors for the series. The opening scene has me eating fried chicken. It’s part of commercial endorsement. But I didn’t pay attention to the shirt being the same color as in the commercial. This just shows that I wholesomely advertised for them!”
Kevin also revealed that while filming Vampire <僵> recently, he coincidentally ran into Chow Yun Fat (周潤發). Unable to contain his excitement, Kevin approached Chow Yun Fat and asked for a selfie together. Kevin said excitedly, “He said he has been watching my series.”

That scene was hot. Tavia and Kevin have very good chemistry together. She looks cute when interacting with both Kevins. Looking forward to future possible passionate scenes of Tavia and Ruco, which I missed from their open-ended pairing in The Other Truth.
I will be happy if Jan ends up with either of the male lead characters.
By the looks of promo posters , trailers etc. Jan looks like she will end up with Kevin’s character rather than Ruco ( so sad…lol) I’ve always anticipated a Ruco and tavia happy ending ever since The Other Truth. Looks like this series won’t be it!
Very hot yes but repeated at least twice per episode kills whatever hotness. Needs new hot scene.pls stop repeating the scene and move on.

Yes it is lol. It is a key scene, I agree with Rachel it does Make sense for the flashbacks to occur. It also supports /shows Tavia’s character’s ability of having a photographic record memory… Her charactter keeps flashing back to that scene because that event means a lot to her emotionally and mentally. It makes all the sense imo lol.
I don’t think it’s necessary. It’s getting repetitive this far, so I don’t know how many times I have to bear with it. TVB must think their audience is slow or something. Maybe they ran out of ideas.
Perhaps you can skip / fast forward the episode when you see a flashback so you wouldn’t have to bear with it while watching.
Clementine I am watching real time. I can’t fast forward. TVB would just this series justice by not over milking that scene.
TVB loves their repeat flashbacks, can remember other series where a flashback was of an event that happened 2 mins ago.

This scene was actually longer if you have a look at the behind the scenes tvb put on myTV website… This scene was not cut off, but it was definitely edited so that it would be ‘suitable’ for prime time/family audience. Or else the scene would have ended with Kevin half naked on top of Tavia both lying on the table as seen in the bts clip lol.
Yeah, perhaps tavia isn’t exactly the sexy type but she doesn’t have to be For these sort of scene to work, their chemistry delivered what was needed to make this scene hot. Proves the acting skills are there, not just relying on being sexy onscreen..

Writing coincidental and impossible plot lines.
That scene was so hot lol! But the behind the scenes was also put online and this scene was extended, but they cut a lot out in order to be “appropriate” for television viewing. The behind the scenes clip was even more wooooaaah… Their chemistry was on fire lol! So steamy..
Really liking this series so far. The plot keeps rolling at a good pace and keeps interest. Looking forward to how Ruco’s character will play out !

That was so not sexy! But it was so very funny!! I must applaud their professionalism. This is why must practice first! Like many many time! Since this scene is given so much publicity, I am afraid for Tavia fans, there may not be a Ruco-Tavia scene! But if you look at it Tavia is all professional. It is acting. Kevin seems slightly flustered when she or he made a few mistake. I wish the chair part was in the scene. I mean that would be quite a cute moment and memorable for the right reason.
Does anyone know who plays tavia’s male friend who is also employed as a detective assistant at her fathers business? He really has comedic skills xD I love his onscreen chemistry with tavia, they make a great comedic partner.

But It really fascinates and amazes me at how professional and methodological actors are when doing these intimate scenes. Lol! each hand contact or movements has to be talked through and understood by both actors or else it’d turn awkward or misunderstandings would occur loool

Can understand Tavia’s character being upset with Kevin…they had a passionate night and yet he didn’t acknowledge her and yet she didn’t know he has a twin. That kissing scene was HOT.

Tavia is sexy and prettier than Charmaine.None is the best even not Charmaine. Charmaine getting awards because there’s not much competitions compare to the time where they have Esther, Ada. Maggie Flora and others. She definitely not versatile. If Charmaine can get awards so can Tavia.

both Ruco and Kevin are awesome, really love this drama. they look so handsome, so far this is my favo drama.
Tavia’s really in her element in this series and seems to give her all! In fact, all 3 of them, Kevin, Ruco and Tavia seem to inspire one another with each one’s acting prowess which comes off convincing but not overdone. I love watching this series!

I’m also getting annoyed at so many flashbacks of the same kissing scene. Anyway the highlight of this drama is Kevin and Ruco, and their characters are very intriguing to watch! Tavia is just bleh, boring as usual. Sidekick to the show who is irrelevant

Is it just me or I think Tavia’s character is just a side character? Kevin and Ruco are the mains.
Ruco is hot hot hot hot fit fit fit fit gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous sexy sexy sexy! He might be the only actor in HK now that has a lot of eye expressions!
Kevin & Ruco may be the focus, but without Tavia, this drama won’t be as good as it is. Tavia is good in every role given to her. Here she totally is in character as Jen Nie. Her chemistry so far with Kevin is superb. Can’t wait for her relationship with Ruco to develop. So, Tavia is no sidekick. I can’t imagine any other actress who can pull off this nerdy, bespectacled, cute, funny character than Tavia. To me, she’s the best actress in tvb…can take on every type of role 🙂
The series will work well without a female lead, Tavia or not but of course then there will be jokes about bromance and all.

Tavia is so good that she makes all her male leads shine. It’s her little small details in acting that brings out the best in everyone. And that adds the difference to make her dramas do well. That’s why she’s tv queen, and so popular overseas. Go Tavia Go!
You must be kidding, no other actress can take on this role of Jenny? Honestly this character is so forgettable and from the first five episodes you can already tell the director was just adding lines for her to fit in the plot. Don’t think she was necessary other than to be the cause of conflict between the two hunks.
I like Tavia in this. Vase or not, she has great chemistry with the male leads. I notice that she has good chemistry with most of her male co-stars which shows her professionalism. Haters can say what they want, just ignore them. Btw, I’m not a Tavia fan.

So far…Linda acting is really bad!she can’t even express the character.as for Rico he once said in an interview that he only became famous because of ” The OTHER TRUTH” which also involved Tavia as the main female lead.same goes to Kenny MA in “ON CALL 36 HR” also became recognized and Tavia is also the main female lead instead.so,Tavia does not depend on junks to be famous.If’s unfair to her if you say this.
I didn’t say Tavia depended on other actors to be famous. And you have also proved that in other series she acted in, the male actors all outshone her and were more recognized. You cannot say that every character was poorly written for Tavia. The only reason is that she is overshadowed by other actors in a drama and she fails to make her character shine. Still don’t think her acting skills is that versatile, she is the best in supporting roles, just like Nancy Wu.

I think Eye in The Sky is one of tvb best series in years. We’re missing good series with good storyline and good casts like this recently.
@Wai lam: Is the stroyline of Eye in the Sky better than Line Walker? I haven’t watched Line Walker at all…no incentive or motivation to watch it. Ruco and Kevin are super eye candy. Ruco is so freaking hot and sexy!! 🙂
I would say Line Walker’s storyline was better.
A bit too early to decide which one is better…LW is proven…but this drama with Kevin and Ruco may be the next big hit.

Is that true VY took over Tavia’s original assasin role? Sigh…but since the VY character hasn’t really surfaced yet, it would hv meant much lesser screentime for Tavia had she kept that assasin role…that would hv been sad too 🙂 can’t get enough of Tavia’s nerdy, cute, dreamy & even sensual role here. She’s really giving us another insight to a variety of physical, facial & emotional expressions that she can portray so well 🙂

Ruco is such eye candy, plus he’s a really good actor and so hot and sexy…
Kevin is ok but he’s getting old now, the highlights is definitely Ruco. He’s such an eye candy who is a very amazing actor. His eyes can talk and his body is sexy and yummy. He’s very fit and hot.
As for Tavia’s character it’s negligible. She’s only a sidekick vase even if she brings funninest sometimes.
Tavia brings some laughter to the drama…without a female actress, the 2 men cannot spice it up.
I think the bantering between Ruco and Tony is funnier than the comic character of Tavia. Their conversations (even if it’s a one liner) is quite hilarious. 2 of them showed great chemistry in this drama. And Ruco is definitely eye candy !!!
I love this series. I would love it more if Ruco and Tavia ended up as a couple. I used to think Tavia is so pretty until she has her nose fixed she looks very unnatural right now. but oh well, still like her acting. go Tavia!! As for Kevin, I used to love him too until he broke up with Niki and started his relationship with Charmaine :-(! Hopefully Ruco will win an Best Actor award this year, so rooting for him, go Ruco!!
