Bosco Wong Supports Myolie Wu’s Decision to Leave TVB

After working at TVB for 16 years, Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) decided to leave the company to explore other opportunities. Asked to comment on her ex-girlfriend’s departure, Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) indicated his support of diversifying one’s work experiences.

“I think the world is very big – especially in the world of entertainment. It’s good to try new things and see what the rest of the world has to offer. The most important thing to remember is to maintain a good relationship [with TVB]. It’s not like it ended off on a bad note – this is very normal,” said Bosco.

Tabloids reported that after signing with Stephen Shiu Jr.‘s (蕭定一) company, Myolie will film a movie with Karen Mok (莫文蔚) and break into Hollywood. Bosco commented, “That’s great! If Hollywood were to seek me out, I’ll be thrilled too!”

With ample time left in his own TVB management contract, Bosco has not thought of leaving the company. He also treasures the good work relationship he has with TVB.

Filming “Police Dog Brother”

Currently filming Police Dog Brother <警犬巴打>, Bosco will portray a police officer in the TVB drama. His co-star Koo Ming Wah (古明華) had to wear tight shirts for his drug dealer role. Koo Ming Wah laughed, “I was so shocked when I received the script. I have to take off my shirt and shower without it. I don’t know whether or not the audience will think I’m too chubby. I can’t even handle this myself!”

Co-star Kayi Cheung (張嘉兒) is busy planning her September wedding. Feeling very excited over her wedding, Kayi suffered from nights of insomnia due to the stress, but fortunately received help from her fiancé, who made an organized list for followup items.
