Myolie Wu Does Not Deny Marriage Rumors

Former TVB actress Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) attended an event for a wristwatch brand. The 35-year-old, who recently signed under the new agency GME China, expressed that she is still completing the old jobs that TVB had accepted for her. Myolie said she is still in the midst of getting used to her new working environment.

“I’m busy with the jobs from both [my] bridal gown company and the new agency, so I’m doing two jobs at the same time,” said Myolie. She added that she is still trying to adapt to her new agency’s new policies and staff. Asking if she would her new company’s new big sister, she said, “I don’t know but I don’t want to. Too much pressure.”

Myolie will be going to Mainland China next month to film a new drama for two months. She will return to Hong Kong in December. Her boyfriend, Philip Lee, will be visiting her during filming.

Rumors say that Myolie and Philip will be getting married in December. Myolie neither confirmed nor denied the rumor, expressing, “Work comes first. I just signed with a new company so I cannot be lazy.” Asking if GME China has a policy for marriage leave, Myolie said, “I don’t know! I only know about pregnancy leave. I haven’t asked yet!”

As Myolie was endorsing a watch brand, reporters suggested that she could design a couple wristwatch as a wedding gift for Philip. She smiled and said, “I will not get married that first. I’ll see until then. Right now, I want to focus on work.”
