Kate Tsui: “I Cannot Accept A Long Distance Relationship!”
Kate Tsui (徐子珊) admitted that from an earlier vacation to Europe, she met a good-looking German man. “During the trip, I met a German family. The elderly couple were extremely nice and introduced me to their son. Afterwards, we went to drink coffee and exchanged e-mail addresses for future contact.” Kate highly praised the man for his good looks. However, she may be unable to accept a long-distance romance.
Kate appeared at a Coach store opening at the MGM Hotel in Macau with Pansy Ho (何超瓊) yesterday. Earlier, Kate traveled to Europe for vacation. The original plan was to stay in Europe for three weeks. However, in order to attend the Coach store opening, Kate had to end her vacation early. Since Pansy’s birthday will be August 26th, she indicated that she will be celebrating with her father, Macau casino tycoon, Stanley Ho.
Discussing about her recent trip to Europe, Kate revealed, “I just came back from a two-week trip to Eastern Europe, in which I traveled alone. Kate was identified by Hong Kong and mainland fans in Prague, Vienna and Frankfurt, which made her feel very happy. While in Frankfurt, Kate met a German couple in their seventies who introduced their son to her. The couple treated Kate and their son to dinner. Asked whether the man met her criteria, Kate noted, “He is very tall and handsome. He also possessed a good personality. We also went to drink coffee and exchanged phone numbers. We can see if there is possible further development. To family invited me to visit their home during Christmas.”
Asked whether Kate accepted long distance relationships, she replied “When I was a student, I had a long distance relationship. However, since my distance with him (the German man) is so far apart, we may not be together. I am already very happy to have a romantic adventure!”
Regarding Ron Ng’s (吳卓羲) semi-open romance with mainland actress, Viann Zhang, Kate was portrayed as Ron’s ex-flame [by the media]. Kate said, “Congratulations to them! I will work harder (to meet a boyfriend)!” (Allegedly to support Viann, Ron scolded his fans online.) “The most important keeping the peace. There’s no need to get too nervous. Fans know how to sympathize with their idols. As long as they calmly handle matters, it will be fine.”

Long distance relationship really has a high chance of not working, especially since a couple is in different countries and can only communicate via phone or Skype or FaceTime, one tends to get lonely and it gets very hard to control yourself with so many temptations of an immediate shoulder to lean on or the convenience of starting another relationship with someone else.
And the worst case is that after being apart for so long, when they get back together again, they find that the other party has changed, their priorities has changed, their perspectives of life is different and the person they used to know is no longer there so what do they do? They end up breaking up with each other due to their now incompatible differences.
I have seen many cases of long distance relationships from my friends and they all ended splitting because in the end, it’s either the guy who changed/cheated or the girl who changed/cheated.

Did you hear about Karen Mok? I heard that she is marrying her first love who is from Europe too. He was already married once with 3 kids but I think he divorced or something. He recently met Karen again and they are now going to get married?? I guess it is just fate..If you are meant to be together, then even the distance can’t stop you.

Theressa claimed that Him beat her up due to the arguments on his gf (not Theressa) and other girls. Him explained the arguments started when Theressa checked his cell phone. Means Theressa hinted that Him has more than 2 women – Theressa and old gf.
Him didn’t admit that he beat Theressa up and used the word “control”. He said that because Theressa got mad, he had to do such thing. So it means he blamed all the fault to Theressa and he only did the good thing (control her). Then, according to Him, the injuries are caused by good intentions.

Depends. Police can initiate investigation if the prosecutor intends to prosecute but usually police will not investigate until a report is made, in this case doctors, perhaps the ex girlfriend.And since the ex girlfriend is making such a fuss, she will probably report him. But if she didn’t and he is innocent, he must sue her for slander/libel/defamation. In fact I encourage him unless it is true…

Him Law and Theresa news is promising. I hope this ended as bad as Amigo thought. Kate acting is so so la. But then again, not much of actresses nowadays, good one, is either too old, or went on film and China.

I have to agree with Ah K and say that I also think long distance relationships are very rickety. Its just that neither partner have that shoulder to cry on if needs be and then after a lengthy time when they do meet up, they probably feel that they are not the person they thought originally. Its a bit like falling in love with a penfriend. This happened to me when I was single and hadn’t even met my husband at the time. I saw this guy’s photo and we wrote to each other for over 3 years and his letters were wonderful, just like Prince Charming. I fell in love with him about a year after we corresponded. We did not have emails in those days and telephoning was too expensive. I was in UK and he was in HK. Then eventually we met when I went to HK on holiday for a 10 week vacation. I was very sad to find that he was nothing like the Prince Charming I imagined him to do. Apart from looking the same as in the photo, his personality and ways just wasn’t what I expected. Since then I swore to myself, never fall in love with a penfriend and always go out with guys who live in the same town as me. Its safer that way.
I can understand why some people don’t like Kate, because she does look sexy and she does have an evilish vibe… haha.

The first time I saw a poster of “the four” kate was the one who drew my attention. I was attracted by her unique look. When I watched the show I found her very beautiful and I like how she could play an intelligent, capable, helping and nice doctor and at the same time a cold killer spy and betrayer. She had chemistry with Raymond here and even her detractors couldn’t say otherwise -they just used the “their chemistry work because of Raymond”.
Saw Kate Tsui and Michael Tse today in their meet the fans gathering. Saw close them close up. Michael Tse smiled the whole time. Really look very approachable and handsome. Kate Tsui is also beautiful in person. She’s also friendly.
