[Celebrity Weddings] Michelle Chen and Chen Xiao Hold Banquet in Beijing
Registering their marriage in early July and announcing they are expecting their first baby, 33-year-old Michelle Chen (陳妍希) and 29-year-old Chen Xiao (陳曉) held the first of three wedding banquets to celebrate their love today. Inviting over 300 guests to their million-dollar banquet in Beijing, the couple will subsequently hold banquets in Taiwan and Anhui.
Donning a strapless lace wedding gown by Vera Wang and wearing her 200 RMB Cartier diamond ring, Michelle’s elegant beauty radiated throughout the banquet.
The bridesmaids included Michelle’s good friends Joe Chen (陳喬恩) and Hu Bing Qing (胡冰卿). Gillian Chung (鍾欣潼) even purposely took off time from work to attend Michelle’s wedding in Beijing.
Happiness in Simple Ways
The couple had filmed a short clip revealing little confessions of each other. In Chen Xiao’s clip, he said, “Love is like humidity – slowly infiltrating the body, not revealing how deep it has gone.”
After showing the video clip, Michelle shockingly revealed that the two of them have to watch the clips each night before going to bed.
Talking about their life after marriage, Michelle said nothing much will change and she believes the key to happiness is keeping things simple. Michelle said, “I’ll cook him breakfast every day and we’ll eat together before heading off to work. We’ll have dinner after coming home from work and chat about our days. I think that’s the perfect life.”

That clip was actually done for Cartier lol. Some small confessions was added to it at the end but it was essentially an ad. They looked cute though and Chen Xiao looks like a really young Nicolas Tse.

I am sure it is a typo. Even if Michelle is wearing a cubic zirconia stone, it is better to have that and the love, support and security of a faithful husband, as opposed to a large diamond and a cheating, lecherous, lying husband. Just look at some of the women who are going through hell with their husbands, and they are wearing a rock big enough to choke a donkey
