Crystal Fung is Full of Insecurities

Although Crystal Fung (馮盈盈) was crowned Miss Hong Kong 2016, she  revealed that she lacked confidence in her looks when faced with other contestants.

WhileTiffany Lau (劉穎鏇) won the Miss Photogenic award, Crystal’s sweet looks and touching monologue won over the crowd in the end. Despite her big victory, Crystal still possesses many insecurities, especially over the sparseness of her brows. Crystal laughed, “But to be honest, having sparse brows is not all that bad because makeup artists would compliment me and say they could draw my brows as freely as they like. I dislike my mouth the most. I naturally have crooked teeth and food would always get stuck in my teeth. I’ve thought about wearing getting clear braces before.”

Unfortunately for Crystal, her crooked teeth is not the only thing she has to worry about. Besides getting flagged for her indecent swearing on a personal Facebook post last week, a new photo began circulating o the Internet. The photo of Crystal was also captioned with rather provocative statements made allegedly by herself.

Immediately denying that the photo and the caption was by her, Crystal explained, “I’ve never uploaded such a photo. This could be a misunderstanding. This photo looks fake and it’s not me. I think this is rather funny and I know I’m innocent. I’ve even had rumors that I was engaged but there’s nothing of that sort. In the picture of me with a ring, my mom was just letting me try on a vintage ring two years ago.”
