Jason Chan, Sarah Song Return from Honeymoon

After getting married in England and taking their honeymoon, Jason Chan (陳智燊) and Sarah Song (宋熙年) have returned to Hong Kong. While the pair announced that they had filed for a marriage certificate in August, they remained tight-lipped about the date and location of their wedding. It was only when photos of their ceremony were shared via social media that the public was informed of their wedding.

Recently, the newlyweds were spotted returning to Hong Kong hand-in-hand. When asked why they have been so secretive about the wedding, Jason said, “We’ve always wanted to find an outdoor location [for the wedding ceremony]. Initially, we wanted to do it at the Cyberport [in Hong Kong], but they don’t host many of these events there, so we eventually decided to do it in the suburbs in England. It was quite a distance from the city. We really appreciate our friends for taking a two-hour bus ride to get there.”

In order to help keep the wedding date and location a secret, the couple’s good friends, Katy Kung (龔嘉欣) and Mat Yeung (楊明), were mistakenly rumored to be in a secret relationship when they were spotted at the airport together. Sarah laughed apologetically and said, “I really need to thank them. I also want to thank Lisa Chong (莊思明) [Matt’s girlfriend] for not revealing anything. Actually, all three of them are very good friends.”

The couple went on their honeymoon the day after the wedding, traveling to Venice and Switzerland. Of the two places, Venice seemed to have stolen their hearts. Although they were only able to stay in Venice for a few days due to a packed itinerary, the couple squeezed in an extra day to return to the beautiful City of Water to enjoy the dreamy ambiance. Jason expressed, “After we got to Switzerland, there wasn’t much to do, so we went back to France for another day. Afterwards, we returned to London.”

On whether the newlyweds took advantage of the romantic atmosphere to “make babies”, Jason smiled and said, “We’re thinking about it. We have a plan, but we want to wait until we finish with the wedding celebrations in Hong Kong and Macau. We are thinking of going to Maldives to enjoy the sun in the coming months.”
