It doesnt really matter if you are 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. For ex, Kathy Chow didnt even make it to the finals. There have been many cases where those that dont place become more famous & get more opportunities than winners. I agree that joining the pageant is a fast pass to become an artiste. Miss HK reminds me of shows like The Bachelor & The Bachelorette. I feel like the participants arent there to find true love. They want to become famous & make $ as an influencer after the show ends. Yvette is similar to Kayan C in that she is an influencer also.
