I saw several youtube videos that said China Broadcasting Board want to curb BL adaptation. The completed series won’t get airing date while those still in production has already stopped filming. Those adaptations that have already been approved will need to be reevaluated again.

I hope this is not true. Some of the productions are of high quality. I’m especially waiting for ‘Sha Po Lang’ because it’s steampunk. If China just straight out ban without warning, it will affect a lot of production companies who has put a lot of money in these productions. If China want to curb this phenomena, just don’t approve future BL adaptation projects. Let the series that has already finished filming air and those in production continue production.
